Also i have a request, is there a way to adjust the chase cam? The A-Spec uses the original chase cam from base GT2. That game adds the two big cars: the Ford F-150 Lightning and the Jaguar XJ220 Test Mule. Using the chase cam is just pointless since you can't see schnid. Since this mods has a lot of those type of cars? Maybe make the cam more far and/or higher? It may look out of place for the regularly shaped things, but will be great for the bigger stuff......
As far as I know I believe it's adjustable for how far away from the car it is and there might also be some play in the height but it's not enough to clear the tops of those vehicles, angle is also entirely off limits. What I can tell you is having used the taller vehicles such as the Astro and Pregio they are definitely drivable from the base cameras at the least.

Possibly could do with a fact checker on how adjustable the camera is because I was told before but I honestly don't remember

The XJ220 test mule was a cool car

I'd be interested to know too, I always assumed it was just based on the bounding box of the model at most. There's only one unknown value in the model file and it doesn't seem to directly affect the camera.

Fiat 500R colour updates (all the colours in the base game seem to be random approximations on colours throughout the model run as opposed to the actual 1975 colours)

Doesn't seem like much but there's been more work on the backend at the moment in terms of stats and menus + a few of the earlier cars having some updates so unfortunately it's nothing that's all that interesting to be seen here!

This month's short:

Thanks for your continued support!

Again, i've seen it but it's still so cool.

I know i've been talking about this before, but next 120 cars video is getting closer than ever! I wonder if it will happen a second time or it's just monthly shorts updates now, which i think is still nifty.

Also, will we get a "Flushgrill" Impreza? I've seen it a while ago and i fell in love with it. Reminds me of an old Taurus/Passat.

Yeah there's a fair few Impreza's to come and some are definitely of that vintage, like the Civics and the upcoming Skylines that'll be one of the big multiple days, multiple cars project

THERE'S MORE CIVICS?!

I once showed my dad the 120 cars video and when the Civics rolled in he said something along the lines of, "Damn, that's a lot of Civics"

There's definitely a 2WD model, not the Casa Blanca though. We had a few of those retro Japanese styling packages at first but they started getting culled until eventually there was only 1 or 2 so we decided to scrap them entirely

Will some of the cars have decent horsepower? I love the models you're bringing to the mod!!

Do you mean in terms of upgrades or in general? Most powerful road car is 305hp which for 1999 is rather good although obviously the cars closer to that power have a weight disadvantage.
In terms of upgrades and starting power. 305hp starting is pretty nice though!

I can't say we've really spoke about upgrades beyond trimming them from the base game as you don't really need a lot of the options, to be honest the idea would be you'd move through cars fairly often and wouldn't stick in one car for the entire playthrough it'll probably be more realistic in terms of how much power you can feasibly add to a car. In short don't expect to perform any "using one car only" playthroughs here

Nice! I was hoping for the upgrades to be like that! 👍 I felt like it was weird how some cars were turnable into over-the-regulations tuner cars in the normal game.

Lol, will you guys do the this shot again? This one on the chicane with a lot of cars on grid? It'll also look like standard late 90s traffic jam which is fun...!

Maybe on a different track but not that shot considering A-Spec got drama for it from the person who made the original, because he was a moron who thinks parody is illegal and it's not even the best angle you could do that for in game

Sucks to hear that honestly, but what can you and i do, shame to the dude. I think this is the original? Very cool in my opinion and still, shame man.

Nevermind, there is also another A-Spec shot i'd be happy to see. It's this one. Still at Grand Valley, but at the starting grid.

It's very much fine if you guys don't wanna recreate any A-Spec material. I respect any form of originality! :D

Potentially we have a lot more cars then A-Spec though (we just surpassed 180 over the weekend) so I don't think we could get a shot big enough!
You're right. A-Spec has the new cars mixed with the vanilla stuff. In Beige although some basegame vehicles are carried out they have been changed substancially and the rest are heavily, heavily modified.

Definitely would be cool if such a thing existed in game! Honestly I think that's far more likely the end point of anything along the lines of adding tracks, free roam environments due to the various complexities of AI and surfaces but who knows!

Honestly a significant portion of even the retrims are having full blown model remasters currently so I'm not actually sure how much base game is even going to be left once we are done
