My Supra has backseats, and it's pretty darn swell.

I am with chepe though that I want a girlfriend who has something special on the inside as well as the surface stuff. Right now, I'd settle for a space alien but that's another story...
Anyhow back to E3, GT5 and content. I wonder how willing Kaz and the lads would be to look to other companies for help. Insomniac, Konami, Naughty Dog, Guerilla and some other developers have done some amazing things with the Cell Engine. But I keep thinking of United Front/San Diego and their work on ModNation Racers. Why do they interest me? Because they include in their game:
- A livery editor with decals and vinyls locked down to the pixel, with some very sophisticated graphic techniques, rather like those in Forza 3.
- They have the most amazing track creator ever.
- The track creator has a sun which you can position in real time, and the world lighting and shading is "painted" in real time as you move the sun around.
- One of the weapons turns a sunny sky dark and stormy for a brief time.
Then again... who's to say that UF/SD didn't get some pointers from Polyphony...
I don't know if this means anything necessarily, but it does make me wonder. Kaz seems particularly proud of his new baby, and seems as if he thinks it's so complete that it won't need DLC. Maybe goodies like a track creator will have to wait for GT6, and maybe that's where Kaz will head immediately after GT5 is released - and a nice long vacation for the company.
But who knows? The fact that the Nurburgring racing complex was revealed to the world last week seems to indicate that they have some pretty big bombs to drop on us. After all, I'm unaware of any other game which has that entire three circuit complex, so that wasn't a small surprise.
What are the BIG surprises?? Just over five more days to see, tick tock tick tock...
