1.5 1.3 1.1 0.1 0 .. c'mon why is getting slowly ? I wake up every morning to check my calender but it doesn't move quickly like before ><

It's true. For all we know this could just be a new trailer giving us nothing new and Kaz announcing the game will be announced in 2010... again :D. This could be awesome but it could be such a massive disappointment.

That's my fear. So many people have built up E3 that it's going to be hard for it to live up to the hype. If all we hear is more cryptic release information I'm afraid that GTP is going to implode.

Guys guys guys.. stop being pessimistic already. In about 48 hours or less you'll all be happy because there will be a flood of information. There will be a kick-butt trailer revealing new cars, tracks and a bunch of other things will be confirmed outside the trailers and videos. Cool it people. Just some Pre E3 nerves

Yeah last year was the worst, it was such a massive let down. This year however is different, Sony are dropping huge hints everywhere.

Last year GT5 was strictly off limits and press were told not to ask Kaz about it only GTPSP.

Hopefully Jordan will be death threat free this year aswell.

That was pathetic.

To be fair, last year we were hearing nothing from Sony, it was all speculation, hope and rumour on our part.

This year Sony are the ones starting the speculation, that surely must be a good thing in itself.

Its unthinkable that we wont get lots of info or a release date at E3 this year, there will be a few irate gamers on here if we dont get it.

What death threat to Jordan? Thats shocking.

Yep, after the March releasedate announcement at the TGS if I remember correctly.
Some people are so god damn stupid.

You misunderstand me; I'm not being pessimistic. I'm expecting to hear new and good information about GT5. However, the fact is that if we don't get that then the GT community is going to lose its collective mind. I'm basing that on what happened after events last year, which were driven primarily by rumor. The fact that Sony has been dropping hints all over the place would only rile people up even more.

Anyway, I'm expecting critical information to be released. If it's not then I may avoid GTP for a few days :)

After LeMans demo video im uber confident in GT5. Just the date and I can sleep well .

I think the number of people who would be happy with just a release date could be counted on two hands. Since it's been so long a wait, I personally want a broad overview of many of the features. While not necessarily a track list, a track count - including variations, and a mention of key additions and returning faves would be nice. Features like Photo Mode, goodies like Race Mod and a Livery Editor, gameplay modes including my hoped for Career Mode or at least Season Mode. I hold out hope for a Track Creator.

It's gonna be a long day, but tomorrow will come.

I intend on checking post #1 for a release date, and then trying as hard as possible to avoid all other information. I will most likely fail.

Since I'm confident of a more-or-less imminent release, I hopefully won't have to hold out for too long! :p

Imo we'll don't get the release date cause i think that will not be worldwide but japan first, so e3 is not the place .They'll show how the game is great, probably more nascar footage than other, some damage, maybe i hope rain and some cool new stuff. I hope in a huge blowout of infos.

would be good to see a bit more of the damage i think, and confirmation on what feutures different cars will and will not have ( the standard and premium cars debate :p )

A little over 24 hours to go. All aboard, Choo Choo!

Well, in my opinion, we'll get it...
It's like a sort of strip tease (which is good but I hope they are not going to make it too long)
They started with Demo and sponsor at the nurgburgring , they moved on with Le Mans (the last gameplay footage is impressive IMHO)... they published two trailers.. not really new but with some teasing word at the end...
They also declared is going to be 2010. In the worst case we are 6 months before... I think it's definitely the good time...
It's an opinion as well as a hope

It is killing me as well. Why do you think that it will be a failure?
Just curiosity...

I was fallowing VG247 blog and allready it has LAG issues, and FAMILY games. I think it could be a great piece of technology with cool games, but so far, no buttons = no hardcore games. And I love real games, not family games.

But hey, I could be wrong, but last nights close door Natal Even, is not looking good from the press. Also I seen a star wars video with Natal and it was pre rendered, and pre acted video.. comon!

Rumors so far its going to be 180 bucks.. so no thanks
I think I will only enjoy the other part of Microsoft Conference, the REAL games.

By the way, sorry to be off topic, nothing new in GT5 so far :(

Am I the only one who doesn't want the release date? I love this forum and speculation, arguing and frustration. Nowhere else on the web will you find a bunch like this.

I'm hoping for more ambiquity and tense moments.

Locks door and hides lol.

Yeah true! After realease date, it will all calm down and only exitment and countdown will be for the realease date. People will form some car clubs and events ready for GT5. After the release all we will see is Custom Made videos of GT5, Photo Galleries, Tips and Tricks with tunning, and maybe livery editor.. and yeah race events for Online and TT. It might get dull again :(*

On the bright side; once all the details are known, they'll no doubt be posted somewhere in stickies, and it can (hopefully) put an end to new members asking/posting redundancy after redundancy.

I am predicting another arcade-mode demo revealing another track and handful of cars, which we will all get bored of in the next few months before the game comes out. Then a glossy video and presentation of mostly known info, plus a couple of unwitting remarks that leave a look of desperate confusion on the faces of hardcore fans, and raise burning questions which linger and get semi-answered over the next week or two in broken english.
