I've heard the real reason is that they ran out of copies before Kaz got his own. Basically it's the old "If I can't have it nobody can" situation.

GT5 has been ready since 2006, he's actually been playing it for the past 4 years. What you all have is an incomplete version that stealthy ninjas employed by Sony managed to obtain. Now Kaz is fighting back!

Nope, the official reason for the recall is that the airbag in one of the cars doesn't work.

KY wants to correct that problem. This can't be fixed with a patch. He needs a stronger adhesive for that.
