Hi I am new to playing Gran Turismo 6. Played GT4 many years back. I have installed the Spec2 Mod, and Career Mod ver 2.7 on a jailbroken PS3. Working great. I then installed Career Mod 3.0 and 3.1, using FTP, everything seemed to work. However, I actually read the Changelog last night and I see that the changes made from 2.8 onwards do not seem to be in the game. The events you have added are not there. Do I need to first re-install the Spec2 mod, then install the latest Career mod update for the changes to work?
Hello, I really don't added any new event on ver. 2.8, I just changed some events rounds tracks for the Top gear Test track, and I made some engine sounds adjustments, that's it. Don't worry about this.
These events mentioned on ver. 2.8 change log are included on my mod since the release.
Everything is fine with your game.

Hi Thanks for the reply. On my International B, at the UK Sports Challenge, the fourth race is Deep Forest, not Top Gear track. I am up to International A category now, can't check the Super Class yet. I also do not see the Novice One Make events from Version 3.0, or the Light Tuners from Version 3.1. I don't seem to have the Top Gear Track at all. I am using the European ISO. Everything else works great, fantastic mod in terms of playability. Am really having a good time with it.

hey there, been playing around with some random things recently, and there's two things i wanna take note of:
1. there are a few tracks with the partial day/night cycle which have fully working headlights in the dark (mid-field raceway, brands hatch, gt arena) so i was wondering if it was possible to give them the 24 hour cycle like in spec ii?
2. the highway battles event, why isn't it on the event list like all the other events? it's been in a separate folder for a long time and it feels kinda weird because it could be bundled with the other events. are there any plans to expand it in the future?
ik this may seem nit-picky, but this is truly a great experience, and probably the ultimate way to play gt6, these are just things i'd do to improve it. have a nice day :)

About the first question, not every tracks works with full time cicle, because the headlights won't illuminate all the road on the dark, I have made this test already.
And about the second question, I made the highway battles events as a non-regular event for save space on event folders, because if I made over 11 events in a career class, the event will take a long time for load the rounds menu, probably due a memory limit issue.

yeah that's understandable, but what about brands hatch? it does have fully working headlights and is 100% playable at night, in fact the time ranges you've got set for it already have full on night time, so why not let it complete the cycle?

Ah, yes, the Brands hatch, I remember this.
The car headlights can reflect the runway, but not the entire scenery, but is still playable on midnight.

hello, just wanted to say that this is the best update that has come out for this mod. the additional circuits that now have variable time add some much needed realism and variety - high speed ring at dawn and dusk is a wild experience, and chamonix is a nice surprise!
the improvement for spa and nurburgring is unreal - the sky now has a smooth transition from day/night, which was something they struggled a lot with, and they look incredible at sunrise/sunset! the static time sunsets also add a nice touch of flavour, giving off gt3 vibes with forward and reverse having different settings.
while this is fantastic, there are still some things missing that would make this even better. currently, the new tracks are scattered throughout the career, giving a little fresh flavour to some events, but the endurance races feel somewhat neglected. there's a lot of partial 24-hour cycle courses, but they're all over the place like the newcomers, without much purpose. in order to improve that, here's a few suggestions i have:
• adding 1-3 new endurances with the new tracks that have variable time, and speeding up the time to make the race last from morning to evening
• changing the time speed on a few existing events to simulate the events they're based on (eg. le mans 4 hours → ×6 speed)
• adding a couple endurances for exisiting partial 24-hour courses (eg. suzuka, silverstone) and having their full cycles shown too
if these things were implemented, this mod would truly be taken to the next level!
