This is hypothetical of course, and just for fun speculation.... I have no inside knowledge of the console development timetable, but Sony and PD tend to overshoot 'expected' releases...
Agree on that, this kind of thread generally irritates me because the simple answer is none of us really have any idea at all unless you have some kind of information (credible) which the rest of the world doesn't.

Oh hey, I just heard at gran-turismo.com, that GT6 will be released this Fall so everyone would quit making useless "What You Want In Gran Turismo 6" threads.
Definetely going to 2015... No, wait! I forgot to factor in the delays and problems they'll need to fix, so 2016 with a small PS3 version, and a huge PS4 version release. I'm saying Sony will use all the profit to get licenses for every car produced since 1930. About 100 tracks -70 real life, 20 ovals, rest are circuits-, Izod Indy Car Series cars, a hidden Shriners car, and the vehicle the pope rides in. About 200 songs, gotta include Stone Temple Pilots. Game takes like 1TB of the space on the HDD.
