Either he's talking about VR, which would be obvious, or...
a FAT boost in content.

The vehicle choices are extremely unexpected, but quite interesting. The two I can tell are the Citroen DS (Kaz what the hell :lol:) and the Porsche (most likely the datamined 964 Turbo) but the other two are quite a mystery to me. Either way, it's good to see the updates back in full force again.

Hopefully this puts the datamine preachers to bed a bit. We just got served a fat load of cars that aren't in the list. It's definitively not proof of anything that will or will not come to the game.

I've certainly been dumbfounded. I guess the cars from here on out are anyone's guess.

The Honda RA272 will make it the third Honda-powered formula car in the game, after the SF19 and the MP4/4.

As for the other, well it looks like to be a long-wheelbase Vision GT, either a Giugiaro or a Genesis.
 
The open-wheel car is likely the Eagle-Weslake T1G. Apparently a car from Eagle-Weslake won the Gran Turismo award at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance a few years back.

The unidentified car looks like it's cockpit is a little to low and sleek to be the Genesis VGT, I guess it could be.

Personally I hope it's a VGT, and they've made it to run on the tears of the unlucky ones that wait for the same car every update... but it never comes...

... it never comes.
 
Why are people guessing that's a VGT? Its shape isn't outlandish or anything that can't exist currently.

Neither are many of the current VGT's. Generally speaking the community is pretty good at getting these things, if no one yet has any ideas, I'd bet on it being a concept or Vision of some sort.
 
I don’t really see any design language to make me believe that it’s the Genesis VGT. And, just off the top of my head, I can’t think of any recent IRL cars that have this shape…
 
Don't know, it won't be cheap, that's for sure.
 
I don't expect more than 50k credits for the Citroen. It's a cheap car (for its age).
For the Honda RA272, I'm guessing 800k-1.2 million based on other 60's F1 car prices.
VGT will be a million, as they all are.

No idea for the Porsche.

Someone shared a recent hagerty article and a similar porschas was auctioned at 1.3 UsD million, so I guess 1.5 million credits on GT7
 
I expected something more substantial.

The Porsche and Citroen are a good addition for low and middle range cars.

The old Formula car is a beauty but a filler car like the Mclaren formula.

The VGT...wasted space for something more apropiate.

More chassis for bonanza era motors, lobby fixes, no menu books that require a purchase of a 5mil.+ legend car for a ticket...
