Nitrous is especially illegal (as with wide body kits) for these types of races. Apparently you need to have a good racing line and to hold your own against your opponents who will try and make a move, so you need to be defensive when you're out in front.

The problem is getting to the front, the ai cars are too quick. Ive done this race multiple times especially once i got the car setup good enough.

Nitrous is legal for this race according to the web but i want to do it wothout... which i used to be able to do. I get that its a high difficulty race but i dont consider myself a rookie.

Hey all,
Noticed something today. Not sure if already discussed but the 550 PP Clubman event at High Speed Ring could be a decent quick grind for credits. Not as high yield as the Big Four, but it can still yield about 780k an hour.

An average lap of 1:23 in any car will do, though I recommend the Radical SR3. The AI are just fast enough to give you some pressure so it's not super boring, but not so fast that you'll lose CRB.

CRB is ~ 53k and you can potentially run 14 races in an hour to get up to that 700k.

There's a more payable run out there & a good YouTube video to show you - its basically Le mans - 700pp - 30 mins race, gets you 825k(inc clean race bonus) using the Honda RA 272, just keep an eye on the weather radar & for the low use gamers it gets you your daily ticket

Well, didn't expect to see that. Won't necessarily take it as something going on but its intriguing that they bring up Le Mans and don't show the official game they had a car in (Owner of the PS2 version here BTW), but GT6 and tag Gran Turismo specifically.

As much I'd love to see the race car from 1999 return and possibly its road version, the one I'd like to see the most (and the one that's less likely to happen given I don't even know if it exists anymore) is the GTL.

Has a Lister been in a game since GT6? I know the Lister Storm hasn't - so it might just be a case of them using their latest representation.

They were not present in GT Sport and as far as I know, I don't remember them being in anything else after GT6 come to think of it.

The green road version still exist and it appearing in some youtube videos, the other 2 cars maybe not.

That Lister Twitter post maybe is just nothing, we know after those Kaz interviews, he is not connected with the GT fan base petitions and wishes. I never understand which are the decisions from Kaz and PD about the car list, why they included 6 Silvias but not other cars for example.

I could swear many gtp members were asking for Silvias.
 
I'm really wanting to get one of the Ferrari's, but I think the last time I got a Invitation was before Thanksgiving, last year.

Same here. But it was good choice to grind as hell for getting all of those. Now i don’t care about this stupid system.
 
Is the McLaren MP4/4 really a good choice for the Gr.1 950PP Menu Book? I used the Praiano tune at Daytona and came 5/4th.
 
I know lot of people don't use x2014 standard...but those who do, did anyone get suzuka under 1:24 on gt7??

on gt sport my best was 1:22,8...probably because SStyres were possible, and the car had more DF options..

I did the same, at least until I realized I left one car, the GT by Citroen which to this date I still haven’t got an invitation for. Only car to finally finish the whole collection 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️

That was one of the events I was referencing in my original post. I am not a fan of the longer distance races like that. They just rub me the wrong way.
