Happy to get the TT family completed, TT RS not withstanding. Also great to see the Evo. Renault 4 should be amusing.

I was going to be annoyed at the Audi for being a slower duplicate of the one in game but apparently it's considered a different generation and completes the 3 generations of TTs so I'll give it a pass.

Evo is always welcome.

The Renault... I hope it gets some decent upgrade options I guess.

Getting more recent race cars is way more complex than it used to , many hurdles than just the licence itself

otherwise it terms of cars of this update its good

I've gone through the clip slowly, and I'm pretty confident there's no additional hints hidden in the new format, it's just the Evo/4L/TT presented in a different manner.

When was the last time old premium cars were featured? I can only recall the Cappuccino that was like in the first update.

What are you supposed to race the Renault 4 in?

I wish they had something that made road cars not next to completely useless for online events. These are just haphazardly thrown into the sandbox, and GT does very little with quite a lot of cars as a result

Well in Sunday Cup Classic same as the DS 21

Pretty sure it's getting engine swap possibility in next update like the Clio V6 or at least the Clio trophy one
I hope we can do this too :D

Outside of sport mode where a Race A and TT could use it, 15 single player races should be available to this car with a winning chance:
Sunday cup (6) European Sunday cup (6) & maybe Kei car races (3)

He's right tho
Nope… he literally wants GT7 to be ACC

This week we have update.

Probably in the next weeks another update remembering the 2nd anniversary of GT7 with more content?

What do you think? 🤔

Decent car selection, happy with all three, but I'm very curious about the formatting of the post, the weird sounds/music and the red line visuals.

I'm not sure why they'd do that. Engine sounds sure, but why make the start of the teaser sound like a piece off the Silent Hill soundtrack? Very curious to see if they've added something interesting, it's a rather sudden change to the tried and true format.

Updates is always welcome, but I think we are due for new race cars. Cmon PD, give us Toyota GT one, Honda Civic gt500, gr 86 silhouette, re amemiya mazda rx7 gt300, arta garaiya, castrol nsx gt300, toyota nascar camry (as toyota partnership), audi imsa gto, updated mclaren cars like 720s gt3 or senna, updated ferrari cars like ferrari 488 gt3 or ferrari daytona, formula e, updated formula 1 car (redbull maybe), etc.

I know I'm asking too much here lol

The post format being non-standard makes me a lot more curious about why exactly they also aren't running a weekly challenge next week. One odd occurrence is easy to write off, but two around the same update raises some questions...

You'll be wanting this thread:

It's a Mitsubishi Lancer Evo IX GSR, and Audi TTS Coupe 2009, and a Renault 4. They're fine, it's better than the last update's car choices. Makes me wonder if they'll add the Tourist Trophy and Evolution Meeting as events this time.
I thought it was the last new Audi TTS model, not the 2009 old one.

Feels like PD hates 5-cylinder Audi TTs lol, but I'm still hyped for the Evo

I wonder 🤔…
226 people working at Poly. 57 engineers. I don't know if it's something new.

Nice effect, I'm sure we'll never see it in GT7 like the Sophy AI.

Oh boy no race cars...

I can already hear Mark Whitelegge preparing a long rant about this on his twitter
Your avatar has a GT500 Z & Group A R32 GT-R.

How can any Gran Turismo fan be happy these cars are still not in GT7 2 years after release? Everyone is well aware we may have to wait for the '23 499p or 963, the annoyance is because Gran Turismo classics like the GT-ONE, R390, 88C-V, 905 etc. are still absent.

Here we are, still waiting for those classics. While it's becoming ever more pressing to modernise the existing Gr.1, Gr,2, Gr,3, Gr.4 field. I don't understand some people in this community, we seem to be embracing PD ignoring a very importeant, core part of the game. There maybe a little more understanding if they actually delivered on their promises with Endurance races and Missions. But once again, this is another aspects of racing that has been ignored.

Main reason is that they have to redo those cars as most of them if not all werent premium models

The EVO IX is indeed, the MR from 2006, so this is completely new to the franchise. You can tell as this uses BBS wheels from the factory, as opposed to the GSR from previous games, which didn't.

So, confirming with the best of my knowledge:

Audi TTS Coupe '09
Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX MR '06
Renault 4L Export '68
