You mean GT8 that is going to be crossgen ps5/ps6?The main thing is that there won't be another crossgen game.
Let's be honest, I wouldn't be surprised if they don't change anything.

Completely agree with you. Let’s cross our fingers and finally have a GT that can express the full potential without the limitations of bad or old hardware like ps4(old) and ps3(bad)GT8 will probably be cross-gen (or, more likely, a PS5 game that gets a "Director's Cut" style late release on PS6), yes.
PS5/PS6 cross-gen will be significantly less painful than PS4/PS5 though. The PS4 (and X1) were weak hardware even in 2013, it's no wonder 2020s ports struggle on them. The PS5, while it's not exactly a high-end PC or anything, is significantly closer to the bleeding edge than its predecessor was. PS6 GT8 is probably just going to be a shinier version rather than having features only it can run.
Edit: Also, game scalability as a skill has massively improved because of how big the low-end PC market is - devs need to be able to scale games down so that kids who see streamers playing their game can buy and play it (a massive source of revenue these days). Whether that applies to PD, one of the last great PC holdouts, is questionable though.
You severely misunderstood my post. There is a well known issue in the game where SOME cars audible rev limit does not change with the addition of parts that raise the rev limit. Such as high lift camshafts and ECU's (among other parts).I disagree many cars not all changes how the sound when you either change the exhausts, highlift camshaft and other upgrades etc. Even turbo and supercharger noises changes after upgrading. Its more noticable on some cars through.
But to say the sound dosent change with perfomence upgrades is false. I have went back and fourth and do the camparsions myself and yes their is difference but it depends on the car really. Their no other racing game that goes this much in depth either with those changes. Hopefully the improve it even futher in gt8. Some cars just dosent get that much impact on sound with perfomence upgrades.
This is the first time pd even gone this deep for a gran turismo game with the upgrade system. A huge step up from gt6. And i could see gt8 take even the next step.

As I said before, most Hondas suffer from this, as well as a lot of the Aston's, a bunch of BMW's, and MANY more. It's not my opinion. It's a well known problem.
"But the guy i responded to claim that none of the car sounds changed it sound with perfomence parts, witch is clearly not the case."
Nope. It's like you read the first line and then gave up. That was never said.
Instead of [or in addition to] letting us change every rule/restriction for all races after we finished the last menu book, Kaz should absolutely let us make our own custom championships!!! Perhaps with one limitation, the same algorithm that sets the payout in custom races should be applied also in custom championships. But please let us have at least one of the features.I'd be just as excited for a new track as I'd be for the announcement that GT7 has reached its EOL at this point.
Not hating because I absolutely adore GT7, but it feels like we're done here.
It doesn’t mean that Kaz will tweet again. Especially because GTSport updates where just so full of contents. The time between GTS launching and Kaz tweeting that updates for the game would become "modest in frequency and volume" was 2 years and 4 months.
GT7 has been out for 3 years and 3 months.
It really is a great looking sportscar, I think it‘s a much more emotional (and better) design than its predecessor, the F12.Che bella macchina!
My brain is thinking about the possibility of this being the most beautiful front-engine Ferrari ever made...

On point.I think it‘s a much more emotional (and better) design than its predecessor, the F12.
You are having a laugh. This!? Really!? In my opinion it doesn't even make it onto the list of "good" looking Ferraris, let alone the best. It is better than the F12. I won't deny that, but.... that's hardly an achievement. To each their own of course. All art is subjective by nature. I just can't get my head around calling this THING the most beautiful front engine Ferrari ever made when there are a ton of examples (i.e different Ferrari models) that your brain seems to be woefully unaware of.My brain is thinking about the possibility of this being the most beautiful front-engine Ferrari ever made...

That's not fair, everyone likes different cars. I think the Veyron is fantastic looking but a lot of people would disagree with me, but like you say it's all subjective. No need to rag on someone for their taste in cars. You are having a laugh. This!? Really!? In my opinion it doesn't even make it onto the list of "good" looking Ferraris, let alone the best. Relax. I'm not ragging on anyone. He made a BOLD, some would say controversial statement. Harmless, of course. Yet quite controversial when considering the vast lineup of models to choose from, and the notoriously opinionated Ferrari fan base. He voiced his opinion. I voiced mine. It was light hearted ribbing, not an attack. If any offence was taken I do apologize, but I hardly think that's necessary...lolThat's not fair, everyone likes different cars. Mmmm. Cars wise yes. Contents wise and tracks wise not at all. Everything except cars, engine and sophy has been reduced drasticallyMaybe, but we are still getting regular updates similar in scope as for last 3 years. If PD would stop updating the game it could mean somethibg but they are still doing it + no update from Kaz and this makes me feel that GT8 isn’t close.
My girlfriend thinks differently too. She prefers this one...You are having a laugh. This!? Really!? Better that way, I hope you are right.I think the PS6 won’t be as powerful as you think. It will be about ray tracing and will probably have little improvement over PS5
I don't think PD schedules their releases around anniversaries. If they can hit it - nice coincidence. If they don't - no one cares.I don´t expect GT8 until late 2027 because it will be 30th anniversary since GT1 on december 1997.
Again It will be a mistake crossgen ps5pro/ps6, again ps5 pro will not be as powerful as PS6 and we will have the same bottleneck we have now with PS4
GT8 should be exclusive for PS6
Gran Turismo 7 25th AnniversaryI don't think PD schedules their releases around anniversaries. If they ca hit it - nice coincidence. If they don't - no one cares.
That won’t be good for sales though. The PS5 hasn’t sold what it should, a lot of PS4 owners see no reason to upgrade…Better that way, I hope you are right.
