Imagine the number of re-Xs the media person has to post after the December update.

On the Toyota signage, ignoring future content speculation for a minute, it's mostly just good to see that there's some life in that relationship.

With no TGR GT Cup anymore, seemingly no 2025 GR010 livery coming, and no GR car added for over two years now, it would be easy to think things had frayed between PD and TGR there a bit.

I think it has always been the case with GT7 for Polyphony to give a new circuit 3 race events to start out with.

Given there's 2 new circuits this time, it's got me wondering what the [presumed] 6 race events will be for them.
Could be anything, but if it's similar to what non-track updates do then they may be themed to the cars in the update.
For example, I'd be surprised if there isn't a WTC 800 or GT Cup Gr.3 race at one of the tracks for the new Ferrari, but at which?
The remaining 4 unknown cars may also have an influence on the race events we see.

The one that right now I don't see as a full-time event due to the car not fitting into an existing series, but would be a perfect candidate for a Weekly Challenge, is the new retro Formula GT car in a one-make at Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve.
---------

On a tangent point, when browsing the Event Directory I noticed something strange.
GT Cup Gr.4 is the only event series to only feature 2 races. Everything else has at least 3.
That event does have a bit of a cross-over theme with WTC 700, which has 9 events, but it's still a bit odd for it to only have 2.

Cool. But…

Why does one of the largest auto companies worldwide misspell „Nordschleife“, one of the most famous racetracks in this world. ☝️🤓
Given that it can't spell "Challenge" in the rules for the challenge, I suspect that the N PR team is a lot smaller and younger than the Hyundai PR team.

So I took my TVR Tuscan Speed 6 that has exactly 600.00 PP with very minimal modifications, and entered three events that I hadn't tried yet: the European Clubman Cup 600 @ Deep Forest, the European FR Challenge 550 @ Lago Maggiore, and the European Sunday Cup 400 @ Kyoto Driving Park. I cleared them all with clean finishes, but I especially had fun at that first one! I might even take this build to the WTC 600 round at Interlagos, since I haven't tried that race yet.

EDIT: I also took a spare Pagani Huayra I had, and did something similar to it - just installed some aero parts, Sport Softs, plus a power limiter and ballast. Unlike the TVR, though, I didn't even bother with a full-customize ECU, but it turns out I was able to get the Huayra just below 700 PP! Maybe I'll try this build in a round of the Race of Turbo Sports Cars. (That is, unless I end up opting for my Escudo-swapped Lancer Evo X, haha!)

I would be rather surprised if the update doesn't include any new event series, considering the last Spec update added two series along with a smattering of chilli events.

The thing I'm most curious about, though, is the "seasonal" menu book. What on earth could that possibly entail?

It’s at a cafe. So, maybe extra special sauce? We got the jalapeño races. Now it’s time for the reaper dishes. ;)

Best guess is it's the equivalent of Seasonal Events in past games. Hopefully more like GT5 where it's more of a seasonal GT Mode/League with stuff like the Lightweight K Cup and others.

Quick question: anyone knows if the new Dunlop tire stickers that were added to GT7, in 1.63, are used in any real life racing competition?

The first time I've seen those exact tire stickers is from Super GT, from back in May, and they are still being used to this day. But I've yet to see them in other racing series.

Does anyone know if there are other series that use this tire stickers, besides Super GT?

I'm probably reading too much into this....

Oh bruh imagine the Civic GT500 showing up right as it's being retired for the Prelude GT500 in real life. That would be unfortunate timing, but would fit the 8-year gap we've seen for GT500 generations.
And I suppose the Ferrari 296 GT3 is in a similar situation, with it being replaced by an evo update next year. Who knows though, maybe it'll have evo parts in GT Auto like the Audi R8 Evo has.

Didn't this already happen with the RC F/LC500? GT Sport added 2016 RC F when the LC500 have been in its second year of participation.

Oh, the image was just to showcase that the Dunlop stickers are the exact same we got in the latest update. I wasn't trying to suggest that the Civic GT500 was coming to GT7 anytime soon.

This is sort of tangential but I wasn't sure where else to ask it - does anyone know if there's anyone working on a wiki for GT independent from Fandom? I was looking up some info yesterday and how miserable that site is to navigate just broke me, to the point where if there isn't one I'm tempted to take some time off work and build one myself.
I'm actually working on one myself, it's an independent wiki, but it's incomplete though without the help of anyone interested: gtkb.xyz

I hope I helped you

It seems that a raffle is already underway via the Mazda Spirit Racing app to choose 200 lucky buyers of the Roadster 12R.

Hopefully, that means the car will be updated to reveal its specs and unlock tuning in the next update.

Unless locked tuning so they can run some type of Miata OneMake Series Races 🤔(ie: iracing)

Regarding the 962C I hope some livery creators will make the other nations, those liveries were gorgeous !
There are a few ones already : Spain, Italy and Germany, may be the others are available but "nations" keyword did not made them pop out.

[Edit]keyword "nation" gets one more : french livery

Is not GT news per se, but I see this on X and can't think in other thing

"For a moment I thought it might be AI, but it seems to be real...
Apparently, the legendary (?) Vector M12 GT2 has been unearthed overseas.
Even seeing the actual car, it really does have a Ridge Racer vibe..."

C'mon Kaz, is the time
