After so long of a time, I finally have seen a Urus on the street here in SC. It's not as big as I imagined, in actuality when I did see this Lamborghini SUV I thought it was a newer smaller variation of the Urus...

That would be mostly true before the Power Pack. The fact there’s brand new paid DLC out now, means it’s perfectly reasonable for people to expect updates/fixes for the game, let alone for the DLC itself.

That dosent mean the updates have to be monthly. It was never promised
To be monthly updates. And just because their is no update in february dosent mean there wont be updates later in the year.

PD's history is actually the exact opposite - after the the Lewis Hamilton DLC was released, there was only one more big content update to GT Sport before its content cadence slowed dramatically and the focus switched to GT7.

I think they were talking about the drivetrain part of the original comment, speculating it might be "MR."
Most high-performance EV's tend to be "4WD", such as the existing Xiaomi SU7 Ultra. So the VGT, while not guaranteed to be, is most likely to be "4WD" too.
...Unless they go completely out of character and put an engine in it.

Quick thought/prediction
We could see a teaser the weekend of the 14 of march for a mid march update (3 cars) then on the 28 (abu dabi event) we could get the full scale Xiaomi Vision GT model on stage plus saying it would come in the next update.
I also expect an announcement from Hyundai there (maybe the ionic 6 N) to arrive along the Xiaomi and maybe 2 other car (either M4 + M4 GT3 or the GR GT + GR GT3) in the presumably April update teaser.
I think it is somewhat possible has the update 1.59 rolled out on the 15 of may. Middle of the month update are possible but less common…
What do you guys think?

That event, like a lot of the motorsport events taking place in the Middle East region in the not too distant future (like WEC & F1), could be in doubt of happening now, depending on current world events.
Pirelli has already cancelled their F1 tyre test in Bahrain, for example.

Only 1 of the Tesla's, the older one. But yes there are exceptions to performance EV's normally being 4WD

They mentioned MR, which I took to mean mid-engined. An EV such as this wouldn’t have an engine, but a motor in each corner as, indeed, the article describes. Therefore, it is 4WD not MR. if MR also has some aerodynamic meaning I am unaware of then I will stand corrected.

I just saw the news this morning and your right, for now it is uncertain but I personally wouldn’t be surprised if it is relocated to probably Japan (maybe in PD studio if they can’t find a location) a few weeks later…

I mentioned the part about "possibly MR" because there is very little at the back end and was going off the basic design not thinking about the drive train at all is why I said also the "whole back end is aero" (paraphrased)
I see now why the EV thing was mentioned...

There are 2 displayed in the Used Car Dealership but both are now "Sold Out."
Don't know if that first point about the LCD is a hint that a game update is coming soon, or if it's just a random thing that happens sometimes. I'll assume the latter.

That always happens on Mondays - new special picks are on Tuesdays.

EDIT: Didn't read the LCD part. However, the last patch note said the next LCD price changes is in February.

The price changes did start in February, indicated by a blue arrow in the direction of price changes. I hadn’t noticed that special picks start on a Tuesday, but I’m sure there used to be a minimum of 11 cars in LCD standard rotation and for the last few weeks there are only 10?

If anyone told me 5 years ago that we would have a Chinese EV VGT in Gran Turismo 7, I would've thought they are delusional, but here we are.

I'm happy to see a whole new market and audience enter the GT World, but I'll never change my mind about how out of touch and out of place the VGTs are in Gran Turismo. It does look kinda cool I guess.

It's so intriguing to me that we have official HRE Wheels preset decals available in the Livery Editor, but we don't have a single HRE wheel available to use in GT Auto.

Plus I am curious (if the Tribute is to be added) how the RUF's very own rear engined chassis perform in the game.

The chassis is currently used in the Tribute, the 2017 CTR, SCR, and even the Extreme. It comes with pushrod suspension not seen in Porsche 911s. It'll sure be an interesting thing to drive.

Ruf isn't japanese nor american, sadly for the next update. So does Xiaomi by the way.
