Unlike Singer, RUF built a custom rear-engined chassis from the ground up. No Porsche part whatsoever save for the Mezger-based engine.

It has been that way for RUF's special models since the 2017 CTR Anniversary. The rest of the models are still Porsche based, however.

Schnabl Engineering, the team that was racing under the colors of Falken Motorsports will be back à the Nürburgring 24 Hours under Dunlop's with the #17 Porsche 911 GT3 R, driven by Dorian Boccolacci / Julien Andlauer / Nico Menzel / Alessio Picariello (the second car will race with the classical Falken livery). Why that ? Falken Tyre Europe became Dunlop Tyre Europe just a few days ago.

I do, but I don't remember reading this. Could you just entertain my curiosity? Was it ever consider? I always find the leeway Kaz and PD have inside Sony fascinating.

Considering Dunlop Collaborated with GT in designing the livery, I look at that as a shadow drop of what was essentially taking place already (Especially with the initial rumors last year that the Falken Livery would be replaced entirely)

Here's a look at both of the cars together. Liveries are by BerzerkDesign, who have recently become one of my favourite real world livery designers.

My personal favourite that BerzerkDesign has done is an Asian Le Mans Series car the community I'm in call "Greal", in keeping with Grello & Greeno by Manthey Racing. This one is ran by Origine Motorsport:

I have a good story(of course I do ) about a Corvair. I was accompanying one of my friends to Cornell University in upstate NY, circa 1991. It had snowed and his brother-in-law was driving my friend's '90 Jetta GLI 16V after switching driving duties between them for the seven hour trip.
While on campus roads, we stop at an intersection. A black Corvair was heading straight toward us and had made a right turn at speed! The car directly behind the Corvair couldn't take the corner at the same speed and t-boned us!

The young ROTC cladded man behind the wheel of the Cutlass Ciera was baffled why he didn't make the turn. My friend's brother-in-law said the car ahead of you that made the corner has the engine in the back for better traction.

I wouldn't mind a Corvair in the game.

Were you last using a car with tyre branding or in a Sport Mode event TT, Practice, Lobby with cars using tyre branding before going into the paint colours?

If the currently active car's livery has custom tire stickers it also applies to the paint sampler cars.

And yet for some reason we can't do that to our non-race cars, why, PD, why? It's clearly literally in the game, almost seems like they even had to go an extra mile to disable it.
