I had a Lexus LFA build for WTC900 at exactly PP 599.13, and now it suddenly changed to PP 601.65? Same thing happened to my MP4/4 build for WTC900 a few updates ago.

Yup that's right.... That's why all my builds have PP value and dates to indicate their original settings.

That's just saying the real life footage looks similar to PSVR2 in how it was captured, not that it is PSVR2.

If we're going to see any more new tracks coming to GT7, they would most likely be announced at a GT World Tour live event first. Or as was the case for the larger Spec III update, a PlayStation State of Play showcase.
As cool and fitting as it would be to have Motegi return just as Honda runs cars on the oval one last time before covering it with grass, it isn't proof that it will arrive in May.

PP numbers are so arbitrary (all the moreso since they patched out the suspension exploits) between all of the different categories of cars, I really don't think it matters.

It doesn't necessarily mean pp balancing changes. It can also be limited changes in physics like tire grip, suspension setup etc.

This is what I miss with Gran Turismo 7. We don't get to test cars like in the video below, as we did/do(for those that still have the previous games) in previous games.

What are the specifics that prevent someone from doing this sort of thing in GT7, that the previous games had no issues with? I'm a bit confused.

The only one that comes to mind for me is the 0-400m, 0-1000m & Max Speed Tests being dedicated modes with leaderboards.
It can somewhat be recreated at Route X in Time Trial mode, but requires a bit of additional setup by the user. Or I guess using the Drag Race challenges in Driving Missions.

  • The viewer's campaign prizes are stealth model versions of the 992 GT3 R and GT-One, and they seem to be actual Stealth Model separate versions (like the pre-order Mazda) so completionists should make sure they pick those up.
  • Manufacturers is at Nurburgring Endurance II. Comedy potential is therefore quite high.

What's neat about this is, unlike the Mazda RX-Vision Stealth Model, these are Stealth Model liveries on the standard base car, meaning if you want to change the livery you aren't restricted to ones made using the Stealth Model version of the car.

Also, should be noted: the Viewers' Campaign runs until 8 June, but the cars will be delivered "in-game after the next Game Update", which to me implies the next update is going to be June, not May.

Honestly, the GTWS is on the 23th, so at the time they usually drop their silhouette, I think we might see the trailer or some informations about the May update, probably on 28th. We'll probably get a May and a June update.

I know it’s not the first time Polyphony came up with this specific message on a Viewers Campaign banner, but it’s the first time opposite interpretations like these were made based on overall context and what they’ve written.

This is PD in a nutshell. Why do they refuse to make things clear? A simple “the rewards will be delivered following the release of the 1.70/1.71 update scheduled for June 2026” would do.

Because there is no need for it. The purpose of the message is to inform you when the reward will be delivered - not to announce the future update schedule.

when did they ever announced anything resembling a roadmap with dates ? announcing an update so far in advance ? never gonna happen, we will know about it a week before at best 😅
 
Something I noticed: If you change the livery of a car you're using in a Power Pack endurance and resume that race, the livery will actually change. I thought it wouldn't unless you restart the race.

They have to give us something to talk about in between updates. If they were clear with their intentions we would know and stop constantly talking about what their plans are. PD playing 4D Chess while we are twiddling our thumbs :D

Pd sponsors the event they're on every car the banner means nothing
 
Gran Turismo been a primary sponsor and official partner of the NLS/N24 for a long time , also in Pikes Peak too

so it's a shame they never did something officially in the game related with these events :/

Technically, we do have the 24h in the Power Pack. But it isn't an official event.
