The Ferrari and Porsche are the 2024 cars given they are using the old 3-light position indicators that WEC used for the longest time. While the BMW and Peugeot are the '25 season cars with them having the LED position panel that was introduced last year.

it was a calm, slow Saturday noon. Peace and quiet was the ambience around. Even my cat was feeling the slow passing of time and took a nap at my feet. Getting the message I sat down outside looking at the landscape with my cat on my lap finally napping in peace. Then I proceeded to take a sip from my freshly brewed coffee on my favorite mug and decide to open gtplanet to have a quick glance.

And now I’m here, fearing for my cat’s vengeance against me for having squirted all the coffee on her after seeing THE MOST UNEXPECTED AND AMAZINGLY WONDERFUL UPDATE NEWS in recent memory (subjective speaking obviously)!!!!!!


Now to prepare my defense plan and beg for her forgiveness 😅😅🤣🤣🤣🔥🔥🔥🔥😎😎😎

This game with more cars on track and better ffb (and more nuanced physics) would give iRacing a run for its money.

Especially with the Hypercars, a multiclass mode or more cars on track would be a very no-brainer addition to this update. But unfortunately 7 is still held back by 2013 hardware, so we’ll probably have to wait for GT8 for that.

But hey we have a pretty nice top class roster for when it does happen.
 
Since this is coming before the LeMan race maybe just maybe we get an updated LeMans? Or least a Gr.1 race for like an hour and pays 1 million cr? Anyway excited to see this update. It was very unexpected

Based on the liveries, the Ferrari is from 2023, the Peugeot and Porsche are from 2024, and the BMW is from last year.

I wonder if both cars available like the #50 &#51 Ferrari in Brand Central. I watched the video like 3 times to see if they showed the #50 car and I didn't see it. But that doesn't mean anything just curious though. TBH I am sure the livery creators like @Imbissbrunto will create the #50 car

I highly doubt this because it had a whole body change beyond this, but imagine if you could change the Peugeot to wingless-spec lol.

Still doubt this but perhaps it's a bit more realistic, maybe the BMW can have its 2026-spec smaller kidney grilles.

Could be possible, considering some modern GT3's that were featured in the game (Audi R8 LMS EVO, Ferrari 296 GT3 and Porsche 992 GT3 R) had their EVO kits available as dress-up parts in GT Auto.

Could see the same for certain Hypercars too.

Unless the EVO version of a car is a major redesign, there is no need to model a separate car.

I‘m pretty sure this will be the case too (for the reasons you mentioned).
 
And people (myself included) were sure we'd get the Xiaomi VGT and some boring stuff.

I don't even like LMPs/Gr.1 that much but I can't help but feel happy and kinda excited for this update.

Le Mans the track also could use a current gen remake... It's by far the roughest looking in GT7.

It’s so weird (in a good way!) seeing a themed update coming from Polyphony. That gives us plenty of hope to more themed possibilities, like the modern GT500 trio, who knows?

I think the 2024 trio in particular would be perfect, as it'd mark another even eight years between the GT500 trios, as well as having a complete turnover of models compared to 2016. Plus there could be another update featuring the other three modern "Class One" DTM racers from Mercedes-AMG, BMW, and Aston Martin.
