Well, something tells me the time has come, and we'll see the first glimpse of GT8 in this next SoP. This next SoP won't be a small thing; announced two weeks in advance, it seems it will be 90 minutes long and will be shown in some cinemas. It's a good opportunity to introduce and create hype for the next big iteration of the series. I don't expect a long trailer, but a short teaser showing visuals and some details to build anticipation.

I think the survey question about an additional power pack and Spec 3 for GT7 has shown that this year the success it still relevant. Which then pushes a GT8 announcement much later than they originally planned. SoP probably won't consider GT until the game truly gets stale but we would have to be 2-3 months without content to even consider that.

Not gonna lie, when I saw that thumbnail for the trailer I immediately thought it was another fake photoshopped/AI image, and it took some time to actually believe it's posted on the official channel :lol:

I wonder if this safety car will also have "police" upgrades, like other safety cars
 
Some time not long ago, I said I had no doubt they were working on modelling the Porsche 963 and people laughed at me.

absolutely magnificent, the fact that we are getting updates like this so long after release is insane. Thank you Kaz, you are a legend.

The Ferrari and Porsche are the 2024 cars given they are using the old 3-light position indicators that WEC used for the longest time. While the BMW and Peugeot are the '25 season cars with them having the LED position panel that was introduced last year.
