The news just gets better! 👍 👍 👍

[Fanboy]- So far GT5 is shaping up to be everything i wanted from a GranTurismo title [/Fanboy]

Well, like Dimitrov, I drove just about EVERYTHING in GT4, even those annoying dinky Suzuki manufacturer cup races *shudder*. I do like my 400+ car garage, and growing.

But... this can work. I'm hopeful that Sony offers packages. Almost every seller offers discounts for quantity purchases, and surely Sony would rather see a thriving community rather than just a few old farts and rich kids who can afford to splurge on a hundred cars or so. And I really love car collecting. I'm sure there's about 300 rides in GT4 I just couldn't let go of if I had to pick and choose.

Oh well, shortly Sony is going to be having a conference with playable demos where they should be going over a few of these details. And hopefully we'll get a load of info from our faithful news hounds to dig up all the dirt we GT fans hunger for.

So with that, I bid you... *yawn* :P

P.S. It is interesting how one little red car can change some people's tunes... :D

I bet Microsoft is well annoyed, but now all those Forza people cannot say future GT's don't have Ferrari now. But the trailer is well nice.

Also I like the new game-play videos.

I have to say, thoes GT Premium graphics are amazing, also the appearence of Ferrari is great, I'm reserving any further judgment until offial announcments are made regarding the content and pricing of dowloads. Hopefully there will be mass download bundles and such.

OMG i had to rub my eyes twice before beliving them, Ferrari's in GT WTF!!!!

did Chrismas come early this year or what

Now the only thing that could make this even better is if Lamborghini get in on the action, as i am a Lamborghini man myself.

So im glad because the addition of the Prancing horse gives me hope that the raging bull could be charging it's way into GT5. <crosses fingers>

Wow, I look forward to some GT HD Premium videos, especially with some Ferrari's in them. :D

Thanks 👍 Just to let people know, that file is 18.5 MB

It doesn't matter. The website is already overloaded. Nothing's downloading.

Great, I had to wait over five hours to watch the MGS4 trailer, so I wonder how long I have to wait for this one. Meh...

Holy crap, we have the same AVATAR! Now, I gotta change mine. Double meh...

EDIT: OK, I made a new one. 👍

Polyphony has clearly made my day, fine choice.

I can't wait for their signature steering wheel to arrive in stores alongside the actual GT5. GT videos are no longer simple HD gaming masterpieces, it's simply technological automotive pornography.

Ahh, it's lovely to see the old GT Anticipation Crew out and about (and the obligatory orgasmic outbursts.)

Let's just hope that there's more quality media on the way. Thanks again to Alpha, Arwin and Amar.👍

computer and video games confirmed some things:

GT HD roars at TGS
Friday 22-Sep-2006 11:47 AM We get the goods from Polyphony's legendary designer Kazunori Yamauchi

Gran Turismo HD - previously thought to be merely a technology demo - is coming to the PlayStation 3 as a game in its own right. Indeed, it will be on sale in Japan before Christmas, and in the US and Europe in 2007 - it could even be a European launch title for the PS3.

Polyphony Digital president Kazunori Yamauchi gave a talk about and demonstration of GT HD at the Tokyo Games Show. He revealed that the game will comprise two parts, entitled GT HD Premium and GT HD Classic. He said: "The idea of GT HD Premium is that it will give a sneak preview of Gran Turismo 5. It will be a cutting-edge game, maximising the power available from the PS3." GT HD Premium will not have an online component, but will boast 30 cars and two (as yet unspecified) tracks; Yamauchi's TGS demo showed a public-roads track in the shadow of The Eiger mountain in Switzerland.

Yamauchi explained the thinking behind GT HD Classic: "We wanted to pursue the possibilities behind network gaming offered by the PS3. We took the Gran Turismo assets and recreated them in full HD, then focused on the online aspect of the HD experience." Essentially, GT HD Classic imports most of the assets from Gran Turismos from the past, and assembles them into an online game which, among other things, will allow players to create their own track days and have drifting competitions. GT HD Classic will have 770 cars, 51 tracks and over 4,500 items in all -- as Yamauchi explained: "All downloadable. This is where the PlayStation Store comes into play. Prices for the downloads have not yet been decided, or the structures of the business models."

Yamauchi added: "We are coming to a transition in gaming style. In 1997, Gran Turismo offered over 100 hours of condensed gameplay, and you needed to play it to the full extent to get all the items in the game. With GT HD, we thought we would take a different approach. We would give it casual gaming-style accessibility, so players can maybe play for 10 to 30 minutes, every day. That is one of the reasons why we decided not to call it Gran Turismo 5".

still don´t know if i´m happy or not... hopefully more news to come:tup:

VV
Yeap. But made with real cars.

Real cars? Hm... Is that air what you're breathing now?

Real cars - or crazy 4Kp UXHD renders from NG PhotoMode presented in motion? One will never know with Sony :).

I changed my avatar to suit the mood. ;)

Keep the news coming in! Makes me want to buy a PS3 even more and more...

Yes VV, remember, this is the Amartrix...

You're too kind my dear friend :sly:

I was kidding with above - it is a real footage nodoubtfuly - but then again - I couldn't help myself thinking about that during whole video.

Remember those "photos" of Nissan GT-R Concept from last year's Tokyo Auto Show - made in GT4's PhotoMode in 2K resolution - that were published around the world as "real" photos - and nobody even thought - outside GT very comunity - that those were renders..

seems like we will have some packges and also cars for free offered by some manufactors... that´s better... right now the only bad thing is not getting more details... but it looks like you won´t have to pay 1000 to get the full GT HD...

KY was very evasive in the interview with CVG, but let´s wait for more details...

now that we have Ferraris... i sure hope they step up on sound design... A ferrari is nothing but a pill of metal if it doesn't sound right.

I still have an bitter aftertaste of the Mclarean CLK...

HOLY FREAKING CRAP, MY DREAMS HAVE COME TRUE. THANK YOU PD, THANK YOU.

But seriously, my PS3 is sold. I'm just going to wait until there'll be enough in stock and that the bugs are worked out. Then, it'll look like my X360 will be collecting dust.
