Somehow this update does not feel special compared to other updates but maybe i have a bad mood day.....

Ferrari 355 is nice circuit looks good, but need to learn it now it feels not smooth.

Why is the 911 2.7 RS off road in the opening movie but we can't drive it on the dirt in the game.

- Select the desired car and its color.

- Then go to "Car Concierge Request" on the upper right of the screen and select it.

- Then a menu box appears, select the desired condition.

- Select Place Request.
Thanks man!
I ordered Alfa Romeo '38 - it will cost me almost 25M cr.!

Lots to check out in Spec IV so far. I'm weird though...probably won't ever use the concierge. I happen to like checking the LCD and UCD every day for color variants I don't have. I've already got almost all of them anyway now but it's fun to get a little surprise now and then. I didn't have the white Dino from this past week yet.

Sugo is all right. Nothing really exciting about it but a new track is always nice. Love the 355.

Sugo is super fun, especially me being weak in terms of racing and still managing to fully gold the circuit experience in about 90 minutes! I tried the circuit in an evening downpour turning into a dark late-evening one by setting the time lapse to x30. Such a beautiful track. I'm so pumped right now, I'm looking forward to December!!

Hope y'all don't mind some barely disguised flexing, but I'm SO happy that the Mazda Museum and Mazda Trans Aoyama made it into the game as Scapes locations! I had just been to both those places this past January!

Fun fact: Mazda Trans Aoyama is located just a little further down the home straight of Tokyo R246! As noted by the game's description, the ground floor has a Hiroshima–brand café called Itsuki Coffee, and they serve a lemonade and cake that has a very distinct and authentic Hiroshima lemon taste that is just a rarity outside the prefecture from my experience. The ice cream and coffee were excellent, but the French Toast blew my freaking mind with how good it was!

I also sat in an RX-7 for the first time in my life. Yes, Mazda actually lets visitors sit in their priceless exhibits, and even offer short rides in some of them from time to time! I rode in a 5th gen Familia; the millionth to roll off the assembly line, in fact! Sadly, photography wasn't allowed during the ride. Still, Mazda is simply the single coolest car company on earth, and I will accept no arguments to the contrary.

It's just so surreal seeing the places I've been to make it into the game. I wonder if the people at PD feel like this game is a sort of open diary they're sharing with everyone.

Something interesting/weird in Sugo is that the wind is consistently high, at least from the various Time Trials I did. The lowest I had was 5.7 m/s (which is already decently high) but I was constantly getting around 11 m/s. Don't recall any other circuit in GT7 with a wind speed that high.

Edit: Just did the 3 races in Sugo and they all had normal wind speed (between 1.6 to 2.4 m/s). No idea why the Time Trials and Custom Races in Sugo constantly have such a high wind speed.

Anyways, the Stepwgn and the 2CV are definitely the highlights for me. Great inclusions. :D

So I may have to read more into the car concierge. Does that mean all the credits you earn automatically go to that car or do you pay it up front? (I would assume you pay for it up front, but would be kind of fun to get cars on loan 😅 )

What is the price of the 355?

No. You pay for it when it's delivered. This allows you to order it and save up (if necessary), before collecting it and paying for it.

GTPlanet
In essence, you navigate to the car within the Vintage section of Brand Central, select the vehicle, colour, and condition, and click on the “Car Concierge Request” tile featuring the NPC “Stephanie”. The car is then added to your request slots and arrives within a few days.

While it will cost extra to have a car sourced for you, and more for a mint-condition example, you don’t pay immediately. That will allow you time to save up for particularly pricey cars — and beware, this now makes it possible for some cars to cost more than the previous 20,000,000cr limit — so you are no longer limited by the car going out of stock.
What is the price of the 355?

It seems that you pay when the requested car is delivered to you. The Concierge gives you a price for each condition. When my first car shows up in a couple of days, I can positively verify my hypothesis. No money changed hands, that I noticed, and no CL points were given out either.

My car won't arrive for 10 days. I hope don't forgot about it 🤣TBH I do wish they would go back to in game days in stead of real days

Just my 2 cents.........

- Sugo is so much fun. It's way better than CGV & Abu Dhabi combined. Love the flowing nature. S2 & S3 are superb to drive through. The last uphill continuous right hander is a gem in it's own right.
P.S. - If You want to learn this track don't do it via the latest TT (which I feel is a bad combo to give by PD on a brand new track alien to almost everyone. A Gr3 or 4 car with racing tyres would help a lot to familiarise imo). Go for the CE in the Nissan with RM. I enjoyed it till I golded it.

- Your recommendations kind of feature is something I always wanted. Not sure if it's like a mini toggle of the most visited parts of the game that a player visits OR it's just the last portions of the game the player visited OR portions of the game that warrants attention. Either way, I like this addition a lot. It would've been amazing if it could be customized to the portions of the game we like visiting the most like daily races, Used cars, GT Auto, Showcase etc.

I still think he meant "that was the two courses", meaning Sugo and Autumn Ring as he closed out the course segment, and it got translated from Japanese poorly in the English subtitles.

Having seen the new intro, combined with how much attention they were giving Mini in the reveal, I'm very confident there's three Autumn Ring layouts now.
This is my interpretation too - Sugo and Autumn Ring
This has happened a few times, I think they do this for a lot of the cars when they are first added.
I think most people have probably noticed, but there's a nice little Easter egg in the 2CV currently on sale.

It's that the mileage is set to 1986km, the same as the 2CV model year.
While not every player might consider this significant, once I discovered this detail, I decided to buy an extra 2CV to keep as a memento.
The used cars always start with their mileage like this - the Ferrari was 1995

Is it just me, or is there something slightly codishy in this part. I'm getting some 1.71 vibes... ;)

I quite like the update so far. Sugo will take some practice, just like Autopolis did. Sugo is very technical and tight, but quite fun. The Car Concierge is a great addition, along with being able to see all the car colors in Brand Central. The Car Viewer is also quite nice alternative to the garage view, a bit about no interior views, but I will get over it. I still need to drive all the cars, but so far, I am enjoying it with all of the Quality-of-Life additions.

These manufacturer challenges are a right bore. Just did the Polestar ones and it's like driving a fridge. No big payout for getting all golds either. I'll get them done and out the way then onto the more fun stuff. The RS50 feels the same to me so far
The Brand Experiences feel to me like another PD masterclass in wasted potential.

What it could have been:
  • One make races and championships like in GT4
  • Some more unique challenges, similar to what we have in certain missions, like "The Pass", slipstream battles, "One Lap Magic", they could even throw in some of the mileage challeges for eco and electric cars.

What it is:
  • Same old simple license tests, but limited to a small number of electric cars only. With practically non-existent rewards.

I was very impressed with the Stepwgn after seeing its widebody and having the F3500-A swap. Did a duel race around Grand Valley with the Renault Espace F1 and it was fun.

First, I learned track in Circuit Experience.
Then I took fully default Civic Motul with cockpit camera without HUD to Time Trial set in Sunrise - what a beautiful scenery, sounds of mighty engine, sun peeking through woods...

Then I bought remaining cars, took Ferrari to Monza and opened Car Viewer thread:

The main strait has been modified with a longer configuration (a new one) and a "shorter" one which look like to lead towards the original hairpin, elevated now it seems.

It always was slightly up hill the first corner. What is interesting is the runoff on the left, which is now extended, suggesting a reverse layout.

Having driven some laps on Sugo, i find it to be quite a decent track. That fast-paced uphill hairpin is by far my favourite section and it seems like I'm not the only one here.

I haven't driven any of the new cars yet though.
