I'm not really playing GT7 anymore but I like the Concierge service very much because it allows me to complete my car collection without booting the game up frequently in order to check if the dealerships have anything that I'm still missing. After buying everything that was available just now, it turned out I was only missing the Delta HF Rally Car '92, so I placed an order for that. This function could also be useful for acquiring duplicate cars that I still need for engine swaps, but I'd have to check a complete list of those against what I already have.

A teeeeny tiny bit disappointed the new Car Viewer feature doesn't have a full photomode but it's still an awesome feature and surely a step in the right direction towards bringing back 3D photomode locations
And you still can take some nice shots

Only messed with it for like ten minutes or so now back to real work. Do agree it is a step in the right direction. I will be using it a lot take and share photos - probably to many. Great way to chill play Spotify and take photos of cars. They should of combined this with livery mode viewer or let you jump into this mode from livery editor. Not even close to enough different back ground choices need to be a dozen minimum and 20 plus would be better. Ability to view more than one car together. At this point they can stop with scapes and kind of just provide different back grounds for this mode. They need to give of the ability to apply the different camera effects in this mode.

do we know what happens if we don't login the day the car is supposed to be delivered ?

I wonder if we’ll ever get some of those great city circuits from previous GT’s. I’m late to the GT7 party but I was only disappointed with the lack of those classic GT tracks. Will be nice to have Autumn Ring back soon! One of my favorite quick laps (Autumn Ring Mini) to throw around a little car

Bit underwhelmed really. Already done all the new stuff. CE, brand challenges and the events. WTC800 at Sugo was fun though. That new car viewer feature is pretty poorly implemented. Can't use all the controls if you're on a wheel. No interior view either? I thought you'd be able to open the doors, start the engine, rev it etc. Unless you can do that and I'm missing a button press on the wheel?

These are my 'Low' settings (ballast reduced due to 1.72 but still under 300PP).

yeah, solved. Mine was exactly as yours and was stuck at 306, nothing would drop it. Changed the suspension from fully customizable to normal and got to 302. Than, changed again to fully customizable and now reads 296 again (as it was before the update).

was this some clever and deeper insight in order to find how to trick the game to get me below 300? No, it was a blend of random inputs. Sheer panic works.

God forbid if you see a car interior for more than five seconds! Like this is actually incredible.

The F355 is hilariously fun to drive, oh my goodness! Dorifto machine! It has a very light, slow, and vague steering feel which I've heard is true to life, and the pendulum effect of the MR layout is very present.

So much fun.

Putting this out here before the haters come to complain how hard it is to drive (it's not).

:dopey:

With Stephanie Car Concierge service, now the cars wait for you, you don't wait for the car anymore....
I stated I would not use this feature, but I'm thinking it would have more excitement if it asked you to put a down payment proportionate to the rarity/cost of the requested vehicle, thus the waiting period + surcharge would feel more "justified", even if this digital supply/demand cycle is forcedly fake to begin with. Full auctions (with a deposit fee) for Haggerty could also be a minigame of its own.

I'm actually curious what happens if you do login, but you don't have the money for it. Does it sit there, or do you lose the allocation and have to request it again?

No. You pay for it when it's delivered. This allows you to order it and save up (if necessary), before collecting it and paying for it.
Hey I like that actually. Cool way of doing it.

Estephanie will diligently proceed to do you some ghosting and won't reply to your subsequent requests 🤣

It's an active system. You have to click on it to collect and pay. Fail to do either and it sits in its slot, taking up space, until you do.

I keep reading that people wait for cars with some specific colors to buy. But, you can just buy several copies and paint them with real paint colors ?

Am i doing something wrong when i painted my F355 into rosso monza right away because i like it more on that color? Is it not "Real" rosso monza now?

Some cars have corresponding interior colours that you cannot customise

No, there's nothing wrong with doing it that way! The catch is when the car has a design on it - as soon as you paint it, you lose the design. Nismo 400R is one example.
That said, I really wanted a blue Nismo 400R, so I bought a yellow one and downloaded a blue livery from the Showcase.

The game also won't count that you "own" a F355 in Rosso Monza. I've long completed my car collection so chasing after fun and unusual colors gives me something else to do in the game.

I was re-reading the posts on this thread about the new pictures of Autumn Ring and noticed that these two images (from the Spec IV intro, between 5:15 and 5:17) were missing. At least, I think these are from Autumn Ring as well. I've never seen these sections in GT7 before.

If so, the first one seems to be on the downhill just before the loop (which would mean that the Reverse Layout is confirmed, as was expected).

While the second picture seems to be on the "double chicane" section.

Edit: Another frame of the "double chicane" section. Maybe it's just me but the curve that would be for the complete layout seems to be blocked off (seen on the top left), which would mean this is a picture of the Mini layout instead. Hard to say from this picture though, so take it with a grain of salt.

its suppose that the available colours for each car are in gt auto in car customization
Unfortunately that's where you're wrong. PD has neglected the majority of new car colors for the last few years and the new concierge service really highlights the lack of meaningful colors in GT Auto. I was hopeful that this update would unload quite a few new colors in addition to the new cars, but they are missing.

Can anyone check if they reset or removed the nickname limit?

My PS4 has a hundred gigabytes of free space, but can't download this update because of the stupid way it handles installations.

At this rate, GT7 will be the only game I'm able to have installed on the thing.

Civic sounds fantastic. Highlight of the update for me, even ahead of the lovely & lively F355.

I may be wrong but I believe I remember learning at some point that there was something "special" about the actual factory paint jobs too...something that gets lost when you just apply paint in the shop.

Oh, believe me, it would be far more stupid if it didn't do it this way.

The first mistake I made was wearing the VR headset when starting the game. The second mistake was checking all the new features while wearing the headset. Car Viewer was lackluster. I then went into VR Showroom and there’s just no comparison when looking at cars. However, it’s nice we have choices to look at our garage cars.

Very weird the F355 is on CS when 964 RS is on SH.

Vintage and Car Concierge just need one more option: Test Drive. Make it a short one lap of Tsukuba or Autumn Ring Mini for players to get a feel before purchase.

Well, I was going to like Sugo and the Civic anyway. The Civic steering and handling are very go cart like. Made some sloppy liveries real quick to try my ‘87 JTCC grid. Reggie worked fine, but SOPHY is needed stat. Heavy rain conditions left many awesome standing water spots. Replay cameras and car reflections on the water are cool.

Had to. :D
