I love it too, but like a few things in GT7, I wish it was better.

Being able to take photos is brilliant - but it doesn't have the functionality of Photo Mode, which is frustrating.
Yes, I like it. I love the high res view of the cars, but it seems like something that should be in photo mode. I'm guessing that the pan around the vehicle is impossible in photo mode because the scenes are directional (in other words, you can't turn around).

But, they could have added these scenes to photo mode and simply had a "car viewer" collection of scenes. But I understand the immediacy of having this in the garage. But, why not both?
Also (and I stand to be corrected on this), you still can't access the interior - this seems to be a feature reserved exclusively for PSVR2, but it is frustrating to know that it is possible, just not implemented. The interiors of cars in GT are so incredible and have been for many, many years - it seems insane to me that they remain inaccessible to the vast majority of players, save for brief glimpses in the Garage.
Ya, I suppose someone in marketing thought it was a good idea to limit it.

Probably the same people who decided backwards compatibility in the PS5 should be hidden from us :p

This is from May 28, 2025. Y’all’s welcome…. or don’t blame me(for those that don’t like the van). :sly:
Revisiting this video and been looking through the current brands in GT7 and what cars they sell today. Cars that could be dominant in a next Grand Turismo(expansion of GT7 or if there will be a new or next separate Grand Turismo game). Which means 2024 & 2025 year models seem like they could be the norm in a couple years.

From Honda, unless we get tons of Civic trims or the new Prelude, they’ve really got nothing sporty other than motorcycles. Since they went in on the SUV for the game, Honda can follow Toyota with a van and a pick up.

Subaru
I wouldn't be surprised to see the latest WRX or STI in GT7. It would be weird to see an outback on the game. The past Legacy wagons were all sports wagons. Even the Forester was the speedy turbo version. Will we see a family hauler from Subaru that hauls the family, quickly?

I'll end this short take with Alfa Romeo.
Junior, Tonale or Stelvio. Amazing how the choices not too long ago(during GT Sport’s debut and life span) were 4C, Giulia, Giulietta, MiTo. Alfa even ran both eTCR and TCR customer programs(the former browned out a couple years ago). Anyway, we’ll see if PD add anything new from the brand or dig into its more sporting past.

This is meaningless word salad compounded with absolute tripe.
If video game corporations are legally allowed to [digitally] model real world circuits/tracks but are not allowed to use the labels because the labels are legal trademarks, which is fine for me & probably most gamers who wants more digital liberty in video games. Then tracks like Silverstone & Circuit de Monaco could be included in GT7 without the need for political legislation! PDI would call the British race track "Northshore race track/Circuit de Northshore" & Monaco could be called "Riviera Circuit". Problem solved & GT7 gamers will have even more fun & race track choice of diversity.
Perhaps you know this already as a game journalist? Or perhaps I am hallucinating but different than AI chatbots?

That’s not how PD do tracks. They’d also want to to scan the track and take detailed pictures. PD don’t tend to “make it up” - even with their fictional tracks there’s some real life basis on the models.

They wouldn’t want to put “Silverstone” in the game unless they had the real life detail to go with it.
