Agree completely! It's an old-school track with elevation changes, fast corners, and that extra character. Imola is a great comparison. Contrast Sugo with Yas Marina/Abu Dhabi, which I don't dislike, but is very flat and overloaded with heavy breaking zones and asphalt runoff areas.
To be fair, there are runoffs almost everywhere now at Sugo too.

After around 100 laps on Sugo, I’m ready to give my final verdict: it’s a fantastic track, and I really like it. I saw someone comparing it to Zolder, and I can kind of see where they’re coming from. Really great track.

What isn’t great, though, and I know I’ve said this before, but it needs repeating, are the technical issues in VR. I don’t know if they also affect the flat-screen experience, as I haven’t tried it without VR, but the pop-in is incredibly aggressive and jarring. It’s probably the worst I’ve seen on any track in the game. On top of that, you can get some really nasty stuttering, far worse than at T1 on the Nürburgring.

The track just doesn’t feel properly optimized for VR, and I really hope that doesn’t mean PD are starting to neglect VR.

Hey look! Another Kart track we can't have to go with our Karts that never get used.

It's there for me?

I got you, but I’m on a tablet and just place my finger on the picture for my options to pop up. Much quicker for me than the normal download.
Thanks to your replies, I figured it out. It was my browser's fault. If I log onto the Gran Turismo website through another browser like MS Edge, it appears again.

For reference, I'm using Firefox. Figured it was probably a browser issue.
I was also using Firefox when it didn't work. Which is weird as it just had an update.

Also notice how it ended up costing a little more than what they said it would in the request.
My guess is that with the daily price changes it can go up or down.

2 more things:

1. The track is also fantastic in the wet.
2. Is the Quick Race AI kinda…. fast here?
Or am I just very slow? Can’t make it even close to first in a 3 lap race in GR3.

Level 89 is 272 350 pkt.

I noticed that about the Quick Race SOPHY. It didn’t do the normal slow down after passing cars. Not sure about Quick Race with regular AI.

No they don’t! Neither of them are even in the top 20 most requested.

Pikes Peak leads the way as most requested followed by Midfield or Seattle depending on how you count it

I think that is GT7 players on GTPlanet not global aggregate of GT7 players. But my statement on popularity about Silverstone & Monaco is obviously a guess.

I can never understand licensing fees and the like. Silverstone would surely like the exposure something like GT7 would generate. So why make it so out of reach? Like Porsche and EAs golden handshake back in the day.

Whereas that table is actual data

Have you got a source for 50%+ GT7 players wanting those two circuits, and have you got a source for tracks being "difficult to get" due to "political laws & rules"?

I do have a source - but I can't tell you what, why, or who, 'cos journalism, so you may ignore this if you wish - for the fact that Silverstone is incredibly expensive to licence, and that's why it's in PMR unlicensed as "Northampton" and only in F1 games (as far as I understand it) because of the race event's contract with the sport.

I'm not sure what "political laws & rules" would obstruct a track's appearance anywhere outside of a dictatorship.
Politicians in democracies decide that something shall be allowed to be patented digitally within a video game, in which marginal cost of producing an [extra] object/item within a program/app is less than 0.0001% of the electricity price for a full 1 kw/h.

This is meaningless word salad compounded with absolute tripe.

Also (and I stand to be corrected on this), you still can't access the interior - this seems to be a feature reserved exclusively for PSVR2, but it is frustrating to know that it is possible, just not implemented. The interiors of cars in GT are so incredible and have been for many, many years - it seems insane to me that they remain inaccessible to the vast majority of players, save for brief glimpses in the Garage.
Agreed, have you ever played some of the Forza games? They had what was called Forza Vista that was similar to the car viewer mode but in addition to GT7 Forza let you open the doors, trunk, start the engine and examine the car in detail.

It was an awesome feature, maybe PD will implement something like this in the feature.

More digital cars in video games & more digital tracks in video games would be produced if politically decided laws&rules were allowing it by ending patents in the digital world of video games. As a journalist I'm certain you grasp the argument even if it is only distantly related to the thread & most issues in the thread. The sum of the result of this new legislation would be more entertainment & fun for all of us who play video games!

I know that this notion that "politically decided laws&rules" are relevant to IP licensing for video games is codswallop, and that's why I asked you for a source on certain tracks being hard to get due to it:
Most GT7 players very much want Silverstone & Monaco, & few other very difficult to get tracks in GT7 or other games because political laws & rules.

You provided none, and added to it with babbling and further absolute gleek about kWh.

Licensing is between the licensor and the licensee. Unless it's government property or the government is creating the content, politicians are not involved.

Still waiting on the source for an absolute majority of GT7 players wanting Monaco and Silverstone too, which you ignored.

Neither will be forthcoming, because both are fabrications.

What you seen to be wanting is to abolish Property Ownership in the digital area. Silverstone, which I'd quite cheerfully turn into a housing estate, is in Project Motorsport with a different name as are several other tracks. It's their way of sidestepping paying for the rights.

I saw the obvious Autumn Ring sections of the Intro being discussed, but there are two more shots.

The section focusing on the StepWGN shows the crossover 270° turn, and the next shot shows the chicane by the water (part of the Mini layout.)

Apologies if it's been mentioned already!

Many of the cars looks like GT4 cars.
PD place the Acura CL(from GT3), Dodge Laramie(GT4) and Audi RS4(GT4), as background cars on circuits. The New Beetle(GT2) and I think, VW Bora(GT4) are new additions. What are also interesting are the Mercedes-Benz X-Class Ute, AMG C-class Coupe and Ford Econoline Van. Might also be what look like a Ford Escape/Mazda Tribute(thought I took a picture of it) near the X-Class Ute.

I think that white super wagon might be an RS6 GT.

Interesting group of car racing together.

To be fair the kart that's in the game right now (125cc Shifter) is an incredibly fast kart that's more suitable for short versions of larger circuits like Tsukuba or Suzuka East.

For small kart tracks like the Sugo one, a slower kart than what we have would be much better.

Why we only get the 125cc Shifter and not the other karts is like why we never got the X2014 fan car in GT Sport and GT7, just one of those PD mysteries.

What I find interesting with the Mazda RX Vision GT3 Evo is that it has the model year attached at the end (i. e. '26) Does anyone know why that's the case since the original never had that nor do any of the VGT or PD tuned cars in the game.
The original RX-V GT3 is a 2020 car in the game. I don't recall if the year is in the name, but sorting the car list by Model Year will reveal it to be a 2020.

No, the year is not attached after the name. To my knowledge, the new Mazda is the only virtual/PD tuned car in the game that has the year attached. I can only assume it was to really differentiate it from the 2020 Concept version.

I just finished to discover the new Spec IV features and content. I think that the Vintage section in the brand central (BC) dealership is by far the most valuable, as it shows the full available roster of each manufacturer, emphasizing how big is the car list in this wonderful game. I truly support the opportunity to use all the features of the BC dealership (like dynamic scenes and colour list) as it fully delivers the love and passion to cars and car culture. Thank you PD, good job!
