Michelin Man
I knew GTS would have improved sounds, but by this much...heck I must admit I'm very pleasantly surprised.

And it's not just the engine sounds themselves thought that's the thing

The Graphics?

Anyone that's got the BETA & The Platinum Wireless Headset can you check if the BETA Has the 3D Audio Mode available to it? Sounds so much more crisp even more throatier on the Renault RS than back at CopperBox.

I hear some familiar tracks from GT6 playing in the background, along with quite a bit of whining from the race cars. Lets see, I see the Nissan GT-R and Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X now have GR4 models ready.

EDIT: The Mustang GR4 seems to have a hood view, at least I think it's a hood view.

Anyone with the beta care to share some footage? ;)

EDIT: Saw it

I'm kinda surprised about the sounds to be fair. Didn't expect them to be that good.

However can't wait to see someone else stream.

So better sounds, livery editor, no standard cars, and I noticed a hood view. Well, every improvement seems to be checked off imo. Well, except for the AI.

That Alfa Romeo exhaust!

Stream's over.

Marvin come back! MARVIN!!! Yeah he's gone.

It sounds so much better. I would like to hear stone other cars when switching to their onboard in a Replay if possible. The UI is the usual GT slickness too.

Quite impressed so far but the real test comes with how it feels on track.

I noticed a few unconfirmed cars.

Shouldn't the drivers thumbs be hooked over the wheel for a better grip? :indiff:

Not necessarily. Any racing instructor I have worked with always says you want your grip on the wheel as loose as possible without losing control. Very fast drivers can control the car with just their fingertips. Obviously every car has a different power steering system (if any), and different steering ratios, so some cars do need to be 'muscled' around a bit. In my own racing experience, I find it is hard to focus on keeping a light grip when you have cars all around you, but I did find once you sit back and relax and loosen your grip is when you start setting your faster lap times.
