Yes, but there is also word on exculsive content for PS3 aswell :rolleyes:


I wish they wouldn't stuff gamers around like that and give everyone the same.

Yes, but as said, both platforms will have something different.

The good news is either way, the developers have noted that 2 episode content downloads won't just add more items, but will supposedly increase the gameplay hours very far.

and so most probably the pc version will have both contents from the 360 and ps3 version :dopey: 👍 :D
 
Anyone want to take a guess at where & when GTA IV is going to be set?
 
I doubt it will be london.

Why say everything will be different when the city wont be.

My bet is Italy.
 
The trailer will be released tomorrow at 6pm right? Damnit, I won't be home yet...I'll be at school working on a project....
 
I see it being based on a Spanish style city, or even having several cities ala Driv3r.

Or even better, several cities that are directlly corrected via roads, rail, air and water, ala San Andreas?

Personally, I don't want Spanish cities. Or South American cities. Or European cities. Considering the legacy of the consistently brilliant PS2 GTA games, I want another USA city, based on and around popular TV, movie culture, etc.

But improved, spiced up, expanded, etc. to deal with the next gen hardware we have at our fingertips. Better graphics, better AI, better game physics, etc. And more of the fantastic radio stations, characters, scriptwriting, voice-acting, etc. that we've come to know and love.

Like I've already said. But I can't wait to see what city and time period they've decided to go with. Based on previous experience, I expect great things out of Rockstar and to be pleasantly surprised with everything about the game, whatever they're doing with it.

First off thank you for using proper english! Wow on just the pure intelligence that emits from the words that you choose, props! I agree with you fully on everything about GTA:5. I would actually like to see the next one based a bit in the future. A theme like that though the game could either be really good (e.g. Halo) or be very bad. Most of the time when they develope games that are based into the future they always seem to make them too over the top. It would just be different from the others and i would love to see some new weapons other than bats and bullets...plasma, voltage guns, sub-sonice weapons. But those types of themes are hard to pull off without coming out, well just plain rubbish. Can't wait either way for it though. I was actually fixing to purchase a PS3, but now i think i might purchase a Xbox360 though. The price is just so bloody high on the sony's still. Plus i can't wait for Halo 3, have you seen the trailers? Even if you don't like the game you have to give those trailers due respect...looks amazing:)

I personally hope not. Remember GTA2? that was the future but it didn't work out too well (plus I plainly don't like future games lik Halo)


I don't have a clue what they will, there has been rumours or near every major and many minor citys in the world it would feature in. Soon we will know.
 
I agree they have to focus on an era that's already happened. Basing things on the future may make the game feel a little empty... Maybe a more modern one (like the beginning of this century) would be interesting.

Seing as this is GTAIV and not GTAIII ...... (Vice City/San Andreas) I'm going for revolution.

It'll be released around 7pm over here, which is good because I'll be at home by then. Here at work the website is blocked.
 
Where i am, the trailer will be released around about 10pm to 11pm.

I Think these 2 following locations could possibly be the location.

Liberty city, Vice City and San Andreas because they could surprise us and have these citys, not likely though.

London because after LC, VC and SA in the original GTA there was London in a expansion pack so it's logical to have London as the next GTA, Likely.
 
ok... just watched the trailer and i kinda dont look forward to that. GTA:Le noire!
If the graphic is like in the trailer, i'm impressed 👍 but it will take time to get me used to that.

i have to see some more trailers from the game to get a better impression of it. But for now, i have to say, its not the type i'd expected it to be :S
