I can't believe I had something planned for this thread... then lost it in one of my RTF files or accidentally deleted it all. So let me make this brief. GTA4 looks to be pretty fun, but I fear the arcade charm from GTA3 (and subsequent mini series between GTA3 and GTA4) will be gone and kind of dilute GTA4 for me. It will be a different experience, but I have some of my doubts that I may not like GTA4 as much as I liked GTA3. Just doubts at this point. Most of the other material I've read looks and seems amazing.
John, while the game is touting realism, just be sure that it is normally applying to how cars will drive more realistically, and how a city would really work than in GTA 3. Other than that though, you should still be expecting the same type of gameplay GTA III felt, but just more solid and improved.
