This is an example of why one should always carry a camera... My favourite personal example of this was when I went to a wedding on a remote Scottish Island. You could fly there, or take the ferry, which was 5hrs.
Anyway, one of the guests - a particularly unattractive female - took the flying option. All was made clear (and recorded for photographic posterity) by the widely-posted notices on the ferry:
"No dogs allowed in the passenger lounges"
Oh how we chortled!
The one I remember where I really wished I had a camera was when I saw a broken-down bus being recovered. On the back, it had an advert for a local religious organisation. The line on the advert read "God help me".
