@anim8r_uk maybe you ?can/are allowed? to answer this question: The touringcar discipline has next to the categories a few "cups" as well. It has the mini-miglia en mini-cooper cups in there. Will this be the same for the Openwheel and Endurance/GT categories as well?

this is my personal opinion as a racing fan and long term user of these forums....

....but when you have 3 separate British Touring Car Championship drivers coming in and driving the touring cars, giving feedback,adjusting and making tweaks....and then stating that "this is awesome".... and then have multiple people posting videos who have actually played the game, also stating that the handling is much improved and feels great, I get confused. I don't see how it's possible to judge the handling characteristics of a game without actually playing it and experiencing it.

of course, everyone is entitled to their own opinion and that's ok.... this is my opinion after all.

Didnt you guys roll out real life Drivers for Grid 2 also? It's just PR in full flow.

The reason im giving you such a hard time is due to having to rebuy a 360 as i have went nxt-gen...So i gotta be sure this game is going to be BLOODY AMAZING and absolute nothing like the last Grid game (Still using the Ego engine really worries me tbh as it didnt feel right from the very first game)

We had Chris Harris for Grid 2.... not Championship winning Touring Car drivers :D

I understand why you may have concerns, but you really need to try the game to see if you like it or not. Judging how the game feels and plays based off videos isn't the best way of doing that.
 
I agree @The Stig Farmer ! The communication has been clear and transparant so far. No extreme and over de top marketing but just good old decent and usable information. Pre-order stuff is humble and nothing extreme. The devs have been very open and willing to explain things on the forum of Codies.

Very welcomed that approach 👍

I think this time I will try a bit more the online part! Looks promising! I haven't figured out yet how it is exactly going to work with the cars you own already , the custom liveries with that and how XP is combined but we will get there.... :lol:

I am a bit overwelmed :dunce:


I can enter the online races with my own cars. Offline I race for teams with their liveries so how do I get my own car and customize it? ....it will reveal itself the comming weeks.....

Hey man, you can get a 360 once the reviews come out. Also, if you have a decent PC, you can check out the demo before purchase or do the same on a mate's beefed up PC.

Haha, you were probably busy playing GRID Autosport!

Online is looking gooood, there seems to be an online 'career' as well as an offline career.

Multiplayer lobbies have a lot of options including everyone using manual gears and cockpit.

I have to confess, I haven't seen much of the multiplayer during Dev, but I've heard lots and lots of good things about it from the designers etc. I'm really looking forward to it. I can't wait to play the final game (not dev) the same as you guys. You're all going down Online!..... Oh yeah!.... I did say that! Muhahahahahahaha!

Haha, you just found yourself a rival...make sure you check your wheel nuts before leaving the pits...mistakes can happen my friend.... :rolleyes:

You'll need to keep an eye out for the special treat in Grid Autosport..... and it's not a squirrel :D
