Spoilers if you don't want to see the track list.

ZOMG Interlagos. And I assume "Autosport Raceway" is an original track?
Where did you see that track?

EDIT: Oh... I see now... the original post.

Here's the official line relating to Interlagos.....

"Interlagos isn't in the game unfortunately. It was a place holder but sadly it never came to be".

:( It's a massive shame, but it just wasn't possible to get... we tried :(

So basically, your race is over! ;)

Not to worry, still looking forward to the game and can't wait until the end of June, really looking forward to getting stuck in to the open wheel & touring car races!

Also, I'm dying to have my first race in that close up cockpit view, I love the FOV and the fact that there is no steering wheel visible...I'll only be seeing my own wheel in front of the TV!

Exactly the same 👍

Dose anyone know if career and online is totally separate like GRID2 ?

Even better.... if you have a wheel connected, you can turn off the 'in-car' wheel in both cockpits :)

But surely driving down a pit lane, stopping and having your tyres magically reset to 100% and then driving back onto the track can't be that hard to implement?

I'm not too bothered about fancy animations in the pit stop, I'd just like the feature to change my tyres in an endurance race...
Well yes, I would prefer if we could have it just magically happen without any animations, bit I'm just guessing there's something I don't know about that prevents it from happening.

Loved that intro vid too!

This is something I have always looked for in racing games. Codemasters have always had a good bonnet cam in the games I have played, but the next step of showing gauges, mirrors, and basically everything just in front of the wheel is perfect. I always thought the screen should be what is in front of the wheel as it bothers me seeing my hands and wheel then another set on screen. Unless VR is being used.. but I do not have one of those yet...

big thumbs up to this feature codies 👍

They're certainly no joke. I haven't really raced the AI on that difficulty all that much, but I did do many drift events with it on and it was crazy.

I actually won a bunch of races on Ninja difficulty. Ninja difficulty was slow compared to the AI from SimBin. I love SimBin's AI.

Damn, now I want to go play Race '07... But, yeah, the fastest AI in SimBin games manages to lap somewhere along the lines of GT Academy winners on some tracks. Estoril, for example... Or Road America.

SimBin isn't the game, of course you have never played it.

Now, though, with that said, if CM offer an improved Ninja difficulty, I'm in. Still won't trust online in a Codies game - too many bad experiences.

If you look up F1 2013 online crash videos, you'll understand. Such was my experience every time I played online in every Codies game ever.

GRiD 1 has been the only game in their range that I've found to have had good online and a decent community.

I've never played Grid before:scared: . @ITCC_Andrew seems to have had a bad experience with previous versions of the game online, does anyone have any experience with Grid 1 on PS3 or PC online other than @Downhill Dino?👍

I've played GRID for PS3. It's hard to describe the physics but I would say its similar to Shift 2 Unleashed (never played first Shift). I've never played GRID 2 so I wouldn't know if there's been any physics changes. The overall gameplay and "storyline" was great though for GRID.

Don't get me wrong - the original was excellent fun.

But, I only did like 100 events online - enough to get the Xbox 360 equivalent of the "Platinum trophy"... And then the additional DLC, which I also fully completed.

But. Firstly - it's hard to follow up on a game that good (Grid 2 ). Secondly, the only thing that needed work in Grid 1 was the slow AI. I mean, it was fun to really race with them, but most times, it felt the way GT6 does "here's a rabbit. Chase it." Because you'd go through 7+ other cars on your way to the win, and it wasn't hard to beat a single person, but rather just to catch the "Vettel rabbit".

This new game actually seems promising now, in that it offers qualifying and running setups, to help even the playing field so I can start with the fast guys.

Physics were simcadey
