hmmm...thanks. It would be really useful in online rooms that don't aloud ABS...

do you know it its possible to reduce de brake force to 1/3 or 2/3 in the DFGT? I know that some fast drivers race without ABS because they config their pedals like that but i dont know which steering wheels they use (g27, t500, fanatec, or others).
It's not adjustable for logitech wheels. I don't know about the T500RS but I can adjust brake force on my Fanatec clubsport pedals.

hmmm i thing tidgney has a g25 set and has his pedals adjust to 5/8. Not sure though.

^^I love the na6's in mariner blue, other than that na8's for me. ;)

I just got done doing the Nurb. event and after SOOOO many failed attempts...I finally made it into the 38's!

Albeit, a high 38, 38.9xx, but it feel's good nonetheless. There is still room to improve so hopefully I get that time lower.

I tried soooo hard to find a mariner blue :( But after I eventually finish the swap (read in the next 4 years :p) I'll get mine painted :)

I was done with round 1 after doing them all once :P I think after last night I'm done with round 2, I've yet to string together a perfect run on the esses but I'm bored of them. Made all my goals in the others so I'm happy.

I am currently looking to purchase a Miata, so far I missed out on 2 mariner blue miata's in good condition for ~$3k.

They sell damn quick when they are that cheap and in good condition, with low miles too.

I'm hoping another good one show's up soon. :nervous:

hay for the guys on the leader boards what kind of wheel are you guys using?

I am using a Logitech DFGT, I modded the pedal's ("bungee cord" mod on the brake pedal & adjusted the spring on the gas pedal so that it has more resistace), and I added the "Gran TurGismo" flappy paddle's.

What are you using? :dopey:

Yup, good miatas go quick. Took me almost a year to straight trade my Xterra for mine back in November. Love it though, perfect DD/autox car...especially with way stiffer springs, koni sports w/ adjustable perches, 15x7.5 wheels and 205 star specs :D

I'm using a g27 and have rubber stoppers installed in the brake pedal spring to make it stiffer.

Scooty, that's cool to hear that you are using rubber stops on your brakes. I did the same thing once I tried iRacing and needed a harder brake pedal on my T500 pedals. I hadn't heard of anyone doing this, thought I was the only one.

That little $.39 upgrade from the hardware store was worth every penny. :)

Indeed it is. It greatly increased my consistency in iRacing as the pedal is actually firm and not just floppy with the weak stock spring. I basically just copied the nixim mod.

Just got the "demo" today. I golded all the events, but unless Round 8-5 happens to be a perfect car-track combo for me, I think I'm about toasted ;). I finished in about the ~16k range when I tried.

any tips for getting good lap times using DS3? :)

my best lap times are

1-1 30.449
1-2 29.851
1-3 27.914
1-4 29.082
1-5 38.012

2-1 53.702
2-2 27.251
2-3 24.917
2-4 34.842
2-5 42.438

I just got a DFGT last week with stock pedals. Been thinking about returning it though and getting a g27. Man those pedals are really frustrating :banghead: it feels like the pedals are keeping me from achieving top times on the leader board

You could try the bungee cord trick.

Just got up to the top ~2500 on 2-2. I guess practice does help. Only about 4 tenths off of Scooty's time, but I don't see where I can pick those up .

I wish there were more filters to check rankings. Cause I'm pretty sure 2500 is pretty fast for an automatic transmission driver.

Yeah, the only event I've cracked the top 10k in is 2-2, which is ~2700 I think.

^^yup, practice makes perfect, have you tried following the leader's ghost? It really helps in figuring out where you are slowing down and where you can gain more time. Also, save the replay and watch it, this way you will see where they are braking, turning, etc.

Anyway, just got done doing 2-4, after so many attempts, I finally made it into the 31's...a high 31 nonetheless. I am losing time on the first corner, anyone have any tips?

Yeah, the leaders ghost is how I max my time. I'm not sure how much more I can find, so it'll just be a matter of reps I presume.

I would try that, but I am afraid I would destroy my wheel before the final round.

On a separate note, SpecMiata-JSW, you wouldn't happen to be in a commercial for brighthouse advertising would you? lol

Yes I am. I hate seeing myself in commercials, but you do what you've got to do to get business.

Are you local in Orlando?

I can't seem to get used to using my DFGT wheel. For some odd reason I can't recover from a minor fishtail. I could drift/recover from a fishtail in a real situation scenario all day long but, this is just puzzling me. HELP!
