Has anyone got some stats or lap times to compare these two? I was just about to create a similar thread like this one - they are both 2,000,000 credits, but the concept requires lv 23 while the road car requires lv 14. If I am buying one of these I want to know which one is the better.

I thnk the major difference is that one is gas, the other is electric.

The road car is gas I think and the concept is electric, but I can't check as Bob is running the 4hr roadster event.

You can check through the description of the car (push triangle) in the dealership if I remember right.

Well, i bought the Road car yesterday, and between the two, there's a 300 horsepower diference.

The Road car has about 496CV (If im not mistaken) while the Concept has 786CV (around that.)

The Concept is unable to be modified, let it be body parts, or mechanical parts.
The Road car is able to, but i used it stock.

Both cars stock on Circuit De la Sarthe:

Concept: 370KMH (Remember it's a stock car, for suck it's hella fast.)
Road Car: 310KMH

The Concept, on reverse, is able to hit 300KMH.

I'd go with the Concept, which is what i did. It's a great car imo. Wasn't too much of a fan of the Road Car, in terms of performance, and besides, you can paint the Concept, so if you want it to look like the batmobile, you can.

What if the road car was modded? Would it then be able to do just as good? Idk how you tested them both and then went with one of them, but if you have tried it stock you could maybe try it modded as well?

Anyway, thanks for the info. I figured there was a difference as the concept has 776bhp and in online the road car has ~496bhp.

I didn't try tuning it, as i was testing the top speed each one had, without being modified in terms of performance.

Nobody who owns a road car they can test, compared to either Jose's test or lap times by other supercars? Would be appreciated :)

Don't buy the Concept it's awful! I absolutely hated it and felt it was a waste of 2million after one outing in it!

I now have the Citroen GT Race Car (with Turbo) (If you can wait until the end of B-Spec) and that is well worth having, that goes around the Nurburgring in about 6.35 but that wasn't my best lap I've ever done around that track!

So I guess if anyone could take the Concept and / or the road car around the Nurburgring then that would be useful for a decent comparison.

However, I would not use either of the cars you are looking at for any of the races in A-Spec or B-Spec, thats just me though.

I am buying one of the two cars no matter what as it's one of the best looking cars in the game. Want a chrome GT by Citroën :)

The GT by Citroen race car is all about looks...I can only make it go 210mph fully tuned..and the handling isn't that good...as for the Concept car,I can make it go 230mph...and handling is ok...if you don't mind a tad bit slow acceleration, then the Concept is better..not sure if this is all %100 right..

Concept faster than the race car?

It's promising then the concept, but has no one gotten any info of the road car?

batmobile > all just use it online and yell "i'm batman" into your mic when you pass someone in the concept.....if you can see them out the window.

Looking for info:

How well can you tune the road car? well enough to match the concept?

Also, can you paint either of them? I have 2 mil to spend, but don't know which one to get, its more for the looks than performance, but would like to get the best or most customizable one anyway.

i dont know if this is the same as in the game but the real life version of the car used a v8 ford engine around 400hp so i think the concept is faster

the concept is electric isnt it (as its auto), im telling you the concept is awful, don't spend 2mil on either they aren't worth it so don't be a fool, just get the race car in B-Spec as its free and it looks "cooler"

That's your opnion. I want one of them, but as long as I don't know for sure what they can do in race I won't spend the 2 mils.

If someone out there has a stock Concept or a stock Road Car could they please give us some info about the cars? All info is hidden in the dealership.

I own the race car and i bought both the concept and road car.

The concept cant be tuned and has really odd specs.

Its about 765 bhp and like 1700 nm at 1000 RPM.

My road car actually has a higher bhp than the concept fully modded. (engine Lvl 2 + Turbo and all the best bhp Parts)

Its currently 790bhp but im not sure if it has fully broken in yet on the engine.

The REAL strange part about the GT by Citroen Road Car is that it actually LOWERS in bhp when u do the 3rd stage engine upgrade by about 5bhp.

So i kept mine at engine stage 2 since im too afraid of upgrading it and losing performance since it cant be reverted.

The Concept is a great stock car (thats all it will ever be) but its incredibly boring to drive since its auto online.

The road car top out a tad higher and posseses a 7 speed manual transmission which is pretty fun to drive. It has a slow acceleration though.

Hope that answers anyone's queries since i never found them myself.

I'm pretty sure you can't use the concept car in endurance races. Since it's electric once your battery runs out you're SOL.

Don't get the concept, it's electric and when you are doing races that go for more than 20 the battery runs out and there is no way to charge it up, go the road car

I have both cars and I've tuned and driven both quite a bit. Both have AWESOME front and back downforce. They are VERY different, and don't really feel like the same car in any way. The Concept is AWD and has crazy torque. I needed a tune (http://www.gt5-tuning.com/index.php?title=Citro%C3%ABn_GT_by_Citro%C3%ABn_Concept_%E2%80%9808), but it handles really well(no understeer). It is great for short races, especially on tarmac. It would be a great rally car with all that torque going to all 4 wheels...

I bought the road car last with low expectations. I was surprised that it tuned up pretty powerful. I lowered it, stiffened the springs a bit, and tweaked the camber/toe settings and it is a blast to drive. It's a MR drift car...the back end slides out easy and the car is very balanced. It is a bit slow to accelerate at the low end, but as long as you stay in 3rd or above most the time it's not very noticeable.

I have all 3 cars, and I prefer the road car by far! Its handling is actually great - more than great - and can easily be compared to a race car because of the down force, AND its sound is good too. It is certainly not just about looks!

The GT Race Car could be great, if it had more power.....

The electric concept is just a curiosity to me, but fun to have anyway.

I have used the road car quite a bit - and I recommend it.

BUT.... with the payout these day.. is there really a reason not to have them all?? :)

(The Race Car is a price car)

The Road car does really quite well considering its weight, and is one of a very small handful of road cars with that level of downforce (and people will rightly say that two of the others may as well be race cars *cough* R390 *cough* NSX-R Prototype LM). It was easily able to complete the Indy Time Trial 15 under 55 seconds, for example.

This really useful thread has times and ratings for all three around Deep Forest (note that the Road car comes out on top ;-):

Any chance you can post/PM the peak hp/torque and rpm redline figures?

I may have, um, Stage 3'd mine. D'oh.
