but no mention of an included game :banghead:

$150? I guess I'll be sticking with the ds2 for awhile.

That's gonna be one of the first things I get when I get that much money. 900 degrees of rotation!

i think i posted this in the logitech wheel FAQ somewhere.....meh, oh well

I hope it's cheaper here in canada....heck, i hope it SHIPS to canada.....=P

From what I was reading... does the 900º rotation only work in GT4? If that is the case, I probably won't be buying the wheel...

The only reason I would dish out this much money for the wheel is that I could have the 900º rotation in F355, and rally games. Oh well, looks like I am sticking to the DS2.

hopefully many other games will join in and use the Wheels FULL capabilities.
All other games at the moment that support a force feedback wheel will lock the wheel to 200 degree rotation. (more then some wheels)

/me hopes for Driver 3 to be 900 degree compatable :trouble:

this is soo cool, cant wait for it....

PlayStation®2 Driving Game Compatible with the 900-degree Steering of the Logitech Driving Force Pro

GRAN TURISMO 4 :D

Something to get for christmas to use for gt4 prologue and destruction derby 4 and driver 3 till gt4 comes : )

Hell yeah, I also hope Driver 3 supports all 900 degrees cos that would be awesome. Tooling through cities in a big muscle car, twirling the wheel to skip through all that traffic, dodging, weaving, cranking the thing left and right, lock to lock... mad.

That's good that the GT Pro wheel can automatically lock the wheel to 200 degree rotation when the game is not capable of doing a 900 degree rotation.

Well that cool, all I need is more mullah.

OK..The obvious question...Where on Logitech's site does it state "December 1st, 2003"?

Can you provide a link? Because neither Circuit City or Best Buy list it on their website. Which considering this it the newest wheel out there, it's something new.

AO

EBgames shows it as a pre-order, shipping for 12/1/2003

Here is the link. I also remember seeing it somewhere on the Logitech site, but I'm not quite sure where it is I saw it.

This wheel is gonna be around 229.95 cdn$ and no release date for us yet, but you can see the wheel on the canadian Logitech site which allows me to speculate it should be out before Xmas, but who knows?

EDIT: Scratch that, it now says 12/8/2003 on the EBGames site

f355 on ps2 sucks compared to the arcade version tho! pity about that! cant wait for it either!

man, i would only get that if i could also use it for my PC...just think, hooking up a PS2 through a TVtuner into your computer, getting a racing seat, and making a little arcade machine almost...::drools::...i wish i had money

 hmm i would think if you hookup PS2 to your tvtuner, you would still have to hookup the wheel to your PS2 not your PC..

well, you could get or make a usb splitter so that you could hook up the wheel to either the PS2 or the PC. Then you wouldnt have to switch the wheel thingy between the PS2 and the PC...also, does anyone know if the wheel hooks up through USB because mabe if that was allowed you could hack it and use it also on PC, if i could do that i would then sell my current PC wheel used for rally games and NFS underground and buy this one :)

anyone think if that wheel is going to come bundled with GT4 or not?

Course it will be bundled with it, it is even specially designed for it.
