Is it just me that looks like Peugeot VGT have some changes with the windscreen, now it is visible to see cockpit from the outside compared to the old ones that is see through from the inside but not from outside and tinted with the same body color?

I think it has been like that in gt6 as well

Hopefully it allows liveries :nervous: Further in GTS it has been Gr.3 prepped. Spoiler, frontsplitter and diffuser seem to have changed.

Its usable as of the latest demo so it should have an interior

Changes have definitely been made, but I still think it looks strange to have a concept car racing along side real GT cars... maybe Vision GTs/Concepts cars should have had a class of their own.

Yeah, would be nice if it were separate class for VGT races, but I think it is fine for now. Actually there are some VGT that blend well with real cars from what I have seen so far, such as in Gr.3 there is a gorgeous FT-1 Gr.3 that looks possible if it is built in real life. It looks so dreamy...:lol:

Obviously not the Peugeot nor the stand out open top VW, those must have some design changes to fit with real life regulation. Well, in a game they could make it whatever they want, cause it is a game, but I can't see Peugeot or VW would race in the same group if it is exists.(I know the VW exist, but it is just a show car, a prototype that can't be driven on the road. And it is standard specs, the racing version is simply fictional.)

I think it has been like that in gt6 as well

Ah, okay maybe it is just me then... :banghead:

Well, that is make sense since the whole VGT with blacked out interior in GTS are gone.

This looks like 10 degrees camber which means less grip and a lot of wheel spin.
Combined with different front/rear tyres this is very extreme set up to make the car more agile.

Are you sure that is 10 ? It's blurry mess, could be between 5 to 6 ? If that setup is done in GT6, CH rear/CM front and 10 degree camber rear, I would see lots of spins as the front would often try to steer the car due to front grip bias.

Yes, but, whilst it may be less than previous GT games, is slightly more than average for games in this category (at least at launch).

Not really, no.

pCARS 2 and FM5, 6 and presumably 7 knock it into a cocked hat.
Assetto Corsa and pCARS are roughly on par, but came out 1 and 2 years ago respectively.

Given that Polyphony is almost certainly pulling the trick of counting each variation of a car as a separate model (eg. Alfa 4C (N200), 4C Gr 3., 4C Gr 4 are probably three cars) they're probably right at the bottom of the list for unique cars, and they're not high up for tracks either. I think they'll be doing well if they end up with 50 unique models, and Driveclub had that at PS4 launch.

For all that GTS may do well, it deserves no praise for it's tiny car and track list in 2017. Forza Motorsport 5 got a right bollocking for having more content nearly four years ago. For a AAA first party developer, presumably with the traditional super-size budget, the amount of content is...underwhelming?

Should note that even something like Project Cars, while having a similar quantity of cars, has a much greater variety than GT Sport seems to. This is half excusable since each category in GT Sport needs to have a decent number of viable competitors to keep the grids and player choice interesting, but there's definitely a far more interesting range of cars to drive in Project Cars.

It'd certainly be interesting to see how many people did complain about FM5's content amount in 2013 but are fine with GT Sport offering less four years later. I imagine there's a lot of crossover with the sort of folks that criticized Forza's lack of dynamic time and weather and are now alright with that missing in GT too.

I'll probably just buy all 3 games, have fun playing them for what they are and what they offer me, and let you guys worry about these things. ;)

Only three?!

I can't think of a year that's had more racing games I want to play. DiRT 4, PCARS2, FM7, GTS, plus further refining for AC? We're only a quarter of the way through 2017, and it's already looking to be the best year this generation in terms of racers.*

So glad I've got both systems. The more racing games, the better. :D

* - y'know, provided PCARS2 and GTS actually make their 2017 releases. :P

I have yet to play DIRT Rally. I know! I agree with what you think of me for that. TBH I didn't even know D4 was this year.

The game I'm most looking forward to!

After sitting out for the last 4 years due to the 'pokemon fatigue' of doing FM3-GT5-FM4-GT6 in a row, and with it's release on PC, I'm ready to jump back in just for the sheer content alone!

Car porn.

Owned it since around day one early access, never really clicked with it. I'm not saying there is anything wrong with it, just not my game. Although I have spent an obscene amount of hours in the mod tools the last year, testing my creations and had a lot of fun doing so.

Also, did you forget F1 2017 or is that not coming?

As for release dates, who knows, it is what it is. I can't change that so I won't worry about it. 👍
