Yeah. Also I didn't see Spider-Man as well. That one is big isn't it?

I guess the conference is giving a chance for third party studios shows off their latest creations.
This is for Japanese titles.

The western AAA's will be shown at Paris Games Week and PlayStation Experience.

They're unlikely to post a trailer on the 24th. Such things usually go up randomly on the official channel before the show proper starts, like the Nordschleife night video from Gamescom.

I hope. Gamescom trailer was uploaded right after the event was started. And then most of us here had goosebumps with night footage...

I thought there should be a trailer exactly because "the game is coming out soon", but I guess I was wrong.

Actually I am surprised that you guys expecting a GTS news on the last conference. I am not expecting any GTS news at all from previous conference, but more expecting about new games (and it is happening).

But AFAIK there are GTS booth on TGS. So you may wait for a news from the visitors who seeing/hands on the game.

I cannot explain the logic used when to expect and when to not expect about something, sorry. I understand the frustration and
thirst about new GTS stuff, but eh the game will eventually released.

I think, that there is nothing to be a sad or angry, the game will be out less than a month. I remember the time, that we do not know when actually game will be out with no specific information. But now we are counting weeks. So take it easy :)

We never had a situation where another racing game / sim was being launched on the Playstation console a month before a GT release. That's why some people find it weird that Sony/PD didn't use this occasion to show or say something new about the game.

A month would be just another month. But pC2 is out there and with great scores. I'm not worried since I'll buy them both. I just don't understand PD's / Sony's strategy. If the beta had been confirmed to open soon, that would be nice. Since there's nothing, it will be a long month until GTS comes out.

Simply a trailer showing off the fog or rain confirmation could have been atleast enough to calm the concernes.

Like I said the disapointment will still happen you would expect for them to drop a little surprise before release like showing a new trailer with RAIN but instead there are just booths with old builds of GTS that keeps repeating itself over and over. It becomes frustrated at this point before the release all surprises or nothing at all is being hidden.

About rain... Maybe the rain do not have in opening day in GTS , but will be added like upcoming update/dlc..
I believe sooner or later, we will get some kind of information, just need to wait, like we always do :D

I don't wanna speak for anyone else but I am counting days!

and hours too.....:dopey:

Pedagogy. Sony should over communicate to explain what is GTSport. So many contradictory signals for old and new GT fans: internet "requirement", eSport focus, no career mode as we used to know it, no GT legendary tracks/cars...
E3, now TGS, and Sony has no time to show GTSport in a conference? Something fishy. Do they believe in the success of GTSport?

It's possible that Sony and/or PoDi wants to keep info like tracks, damages or weather until release.

It's also possible those things (surprise tracks, full damage system and weather) don't exist or won't be implemented as hinted at / promised in the past. That's why people would like to see it or just get some new info. Even if nothing new were shown, a second beta (or demo, as @SlipZtrEm correctly put it) announcement would be enough I think. Would keep people busy while waiting for the full game.

Let's see if something comes on the 24th. Well... if I'm not too busy playing pC2.

It was a Japanese press conference in the middle of the night for a western audience. TGS itself hasn't started, a 3-4 day event, at which there'll also be a dedicated GT Sport presentation. The biggest news was a GT Sport PS4 bundle for Japan/Asia as in Europe. Those alone guarantee the kind of retail presence only the major AAA releases of the year get. We're five weeks from release, there'll be a mountain of previews, marketing videos, pictures etc., before final release.

I think some get a distorted perspective of the relative size of franchises. A few dozen posts on the GTPlant forum or PCars 2 Twitter account doesn't really cross over into the mainstream. Codemasters F1 2017 had far larger pre-release marketing, but barely registered on launch week in the UK, despite favourable reviews. I'm getting it will be part of PSN's Deal of the Week before October is out.
