A lot of Senna helmets will definitely be on trending in Discover soon. :)

Lol this is already possible. You did not know this ?

But I should probably explained it a bit clearer; right now there’s a few different designs you can choose from, they have fixed parts you can change the color of. As of now, iirc, up to 5 parts you can color yourself. From what we’ve seen in the teasers, those exact same parts are still there, only now you can add logo’s to it. I’m expecting they don’t restrict it to just logo’s and don’t allow shapes, but only time or a new teaser will tell. Same goes with the helmets, there’s a few designs you can choose from and change the colors of. But what if we’d still be stuck with those designs and could only add logo’s to them. Again I don’t expect (hope) that will be the case, but that is what the teasers have shown so far, a design we already had, with some logo’s on it.

My hopes are up for a full blown suit and helmet editor the same as for the cars, but the teasers haven’t shown that (yet). Like I said, a new teaser could show us that or we’ll find out when the update comes, but until then there’s still a chance it could go either way, full blown editor or “just logo’s”...

I'm probably one of the few who doesnt care too much for suits.

This coming from Forza 7 where Turn10 seem really turned on by Halo and Minecraft suits... and now Horizon 4 which has a whole Fortnite style constume setup...

I mean my life wont be complete until I can dab in GTS and Horizon 4!

To be fair the graphics ( poly work/ textures/shading) for the suits and helmets in Forza are mediocre, l GT5 suits look better than Forza 7 . Heck, I'm willing to say PD has the best-looking cloth texture in ALL of gaming, you can zoom I and see the very fibers of the threads..

Might be able to blanket the helmet. There are racing stripes in the demo. Unless I missed that helmet design.

I'm thinking the suit & helmet will be limited in scope to what our imaginations can come up with. Few decals here & there & maybe a go faster stripe down the suit if yer lucky.

Wouldn't mind being able to do a Jackie Stewart or David Coulthard lid if allowed. But that's just me.

Could also do 70s mutton chops but I'm thinking it wont let us.

While I agree about the Suit, the Helmet seems to already suggest way more freedom as those stripes aren't a current option.
Of course there's also the possibility that much like when they were showing off the livery editor itself, they just showed basic designs just as a small look at what can be done so maybe you'll have a choice to make a whole new design. The possibilities are fascinating.

The only way I would care about custom suits is if we could do 1960s-era driving suits and helmets, along with some late '60s Grand Prix cars and tracks to go with them.

I mean, not much to do with that era. Paint it cue ball white. Maybe add a shape or "elf". Yeah, that's about it. :sly:

I hope yer right my friend. Possibilities are intriguing indeed.

Do you remember, in the first days of the SportMode you always see the Winner of the Race in the animated screen at the end.
Would be nice if this comes back. Maybe with a podium animation and the cars of the three best drivers.

It would be a nice little award to show your livery on the car to your opponents.

(Sorry for my bad English. I hope you undersand what im talking about)

This was a thing?! Man I want that!

Might be the only time my avatar would be less than 1000 feet from an alien

Yeah but then we would have to suffer a hoard of lazy arse neon pink Evo Gr3s and Megane trophys still in yellow because finding a good livery is so hard, right?!

Or *ahem*obscene liveries with either tons of marijuana for that 420 life yo or with tons of Anime fanservice girls (the real life equivalent of it is some pin-up girls)*ahem*

It’s the little details like being able to change the colour of the material underneath, and the visor colour and banner that would make it really special.

A very simple feature that would make the game better.

After we select our cars, let us choose the livery for said car, heck gives us an option to choose any livery online without adding to our collection.

That would be pretty neat, sometimes I just want to race with a crapp* powerpuff girls livery but I don't want that in my collection...

No one would judge you for having it in your collection :sly:

I don’t really see what it would add to the game that’s not already there.
