With the alms series coming to an end this week, i'd sure like to give this series a try. The only problem is i dont have the car and i never see it in the used section.

Cool! Our numbers dropped down a little and you're more than welcome. We drop a few races anyway, just like ALMS.

I'm sure someone here can lend you one, or ask among the ALMS people. If I see one I'll buy it for you.

Flyin just hooked me up, it will be interesting to drive this since ive never really driven the RUF's before.
 
Started bangin' around the Circuito de Madrid in my "beater Ruf"...Tryin' to break into the low 25.xxx's....Anybody got a good gearing set-up for this place? Gearing has always been my weak spot...
 
Just updated standings, pretty sure THAT_GUY is in the lead by quite a bit right now!
 
I'm pretty sure THAT_GUY finished 3rd at Monza behind Leonardo, unless there were penalties given out?
 
I passed leo with 6 seconds to go but I think if the clock was set to max he would have got me at the line.

Yeah, those damn 6 seconds. Very nice race, man! Wish I could participate in more battles like this one.
 
Oh, sorry guys, thought it was the other way round, where THAT_GUY needed the extra time to get by ;).
 
OP updated with race info. Also, does anyone have a lap time here so I can set the number of laps?

EDIT: a note to reserves, the most we've had attend these races so far is 8, so usually there are spots open. Just mentioning in case any of you are interested in participating this Sunday. Keep an eye out.

My best lap so far is 1:26.608, but my Ruf is not at the top, I'm needing some help tuning it.
 
What do you guys think about going slightly longer than the previous races, 25 laps (around 35-40 min)?

25 sounds good. Should be on later tonight to put a few laps in.
 
I havent practiced at all, only a few laps with the RUF on Spa just to get a feel for it. Im about to cook dinner, but afterwards would like to get in some practice before the race.
 
Good clean racing by everyone, that was fun. I have some learning to do when it comes to tuning this car, some of you guys were super fast.
 
Yeah, this car can be a real hoot to drive :D Good job tonight guys, especially those (if any) who kept it off the walls ;)
 
OP and points updated. Looks like That Guy is in the lead still, with Bain closing fast in points!

Good race everyone. I'm content with sixth considering I just hopped on the track tonight without any practice sessions. Bain, you're too fast! After the first couple laps I noticed you were already halfway down the second straight when the others were still turning at that first hairpin. Think you're an alien :scared:
 
I certainly don't qualify for green skin I'm afraid ;), I get my butt kicked enough in some of the other series I run in :D. Points are looking interesting too!

I'm also looking forward to Fuji as it's a track I generally like, except for the looooonnnggg straight! Lol. Be good to see a few more guys out for this one, especially those that signed up early. Maybe you could send a PM out TT13?

We might have to push it back a week, or even do it Friday night? Since ALMS season ended, many of us have nothing official going on in that time slot (9pmish).

That way we'd have Fuji Friday and the next track Sunday.

How do people feel about that?
 
I can do this Monday night, but not Friday. I have family coming to town and won't be able to get on game.
 
Well if everyone's set on Monday that's fine, but I may not be able to host, as I'll probably be working.
 
We can push it back a week. Crazy that they are doing this on a weekend. Also we could try for tonight if it works!! We can maybe start a little earlier too.
 
Yeah we can start before the maintenance? Say no later than 7pm EST?
 
You guys know there's PSN maintenance tonight right?
 
For me, it's better to push it back a week. I can't make it tomorrow if you guys are thinking about this possibility.
