Since the American Muscle car thread was doing so well, I thought maybe we should start one for all the other cars in GT4. Sure we have seen all the cars in stock form, but seeing them with Aftermarket wheels is always better!:D

My only real request would be the '88 Accord lowered and with some nice BBS rims:D

bump... I know you guys have pictures of cars with aftermarket wheels that you are dying to post:D

Maybe it's cause no one likes the other cars... 💡

Haha...just kidding, I would actually like to see some earlier Skylines or something of that nature 👍

My Evo VI RS Tommi Makinen that won it's first Japanese race series, so I treated it to a set of SSR Prof SP1s.

I wish I could buy these wheels for my other cars!! Sadly I don't see them popping up anymore. =(

I know these are Audi rims, but the RS6 and S4 come with different rims

I posted in another thread that I would love to see an S4 (in black) with RS4 wheels. Thanks for the hope even though who knows what we will get in the US version.

Okay, I know this is slightly off-topic, but I couldn't find an answer in a forum search, so I figured someone here could help me.

My question is this: how do you copy your PhotoMode pics from the PS2 to PC? USB memory stick? Some direct connection to the PC?

Thanks

How large is each photomode photo average?

Or, what size stick do you have, and how many photos can it hold?

EDIT: Are there any special requirements of the USB memory stick? Or can it be any cheapo one?

Each photo averages from around 200-300+KB. I have a 128MB memory stick so it should hold well over 300 photos at one time. But I never let it get that full - I just transfer all the photos to my computer after each photo session.

Thanks for that :)

excuse my next question, I didn't edit in time :)

Are there any special requirements of the USB Memory Stick (2.0)? Or will most cheapo ones work?

I'm still confused as to why the people at PD thought having wheels available in +1, +2, +3 sizes was a waste of time.. Almost every person in the world that modifies their car, goes to a larger wheel/tire package. Hopefully MK or someone with similar skills, will make another program that allows you to put larger wheels on your vehicles.

Lame. 👎

The Locust - where did you buy the SSR's, and why can't you get them anymore?

I have a 512mb Sony USB memory stick that i've had for a while now, that seems to work fine. The pictures are around 300, the biggest i've seen is 380kb.

Wheel of the day option randomly gives you wheels from other cars and it seems knock offs from other wheel manufacturers.

My MR-2 with some sort of Work wheels. Possibly?

Can anyone post a full size pic of a maroon nissan 280zx with some nice 5 spokes, possibly at the fish market, and maybe autumn ring.

I think in GT3, there was only one set of (what looked like) chrome rims. I saw a Toyota/Lexus, whichever car it was, up top in this thread, but I was wondering...
Are there any other sets of chrome rims? (or ones that shine like chrome, anyway)

Yeah, Wheel of the Day. Gold centers with polished lip = (drool) I'm hoping they pop up again; I got a Lotus Elise dyin to have a pair. =)

just a simple question which i have been wonderin is does the game now tell you thename of the wheel rather than just the numufacturer? i've noticed a few people, Locust being one of them, being very specific about the name of the wheel (this may just be personal knowledge however)

Im sorry if this has been asked before, but does anyone know if you can change the size of the rims in gt4?
Depending on Sport, Racing, Dirt/Snow tires, the sizes vary a bit.

They don't specify the exact name of the wheel - it's just personal knowledge :)

:yuck: please slamm it! racing suspension only please 👍

See, that was a question I never got answered: if you slam the car with modified suspension, will the car's visual drop as well? Looking at crazy race cars shows that they're dropped, but is that exclusive to their model? If I were to put some race suspension (Which I believe I have on the EVO VI already) will the pictures show it slammed?

I'm thinking not, and I can't try it out right now cuz i'm not home. =(

IMO, it shows the drop pretty well. It kind of depends on the car too. If it's a sporty car, then the ride height will already be pretty low, so if you set the height to the lowest, you'll be able to see the wheels tucked under the fenders. BTW, this is for on-track photos. Don't know if it's true for the Photo Travel ...
