Hate to break it to you but there most likely will never be a gran turismo game for a different system then a playstation system.
i hope there will be as many non-japanese cars as possible. there wont be any nitro though. so don't hold ur breath.Originally posted by Hot4
Hey peoples,
You reckon there are gonna be aussie cars in gt4? Like Ford Falcons, Holend commodores etc. Wouldnt it be funny to see Geminies in the game?
Also , i wonder if anyone has heard or seen anything about Nitro being introduced in the game?? (like in fast and the furious..push a button and zooooom)

1. you cannot tune the cars, with all the exhaust and stuff, sports brakes, none of this can be done
2. you win cars (some 50) by completing Course licence, Single race and nothing more!!boring!

nope, don't worry about it. it wont have THAT many more cars than 3... so u shouldn't notice it. besides better programming may mean its faster.Originally posted by trickedoutmazda
I have a question... since GT 4 is going to have so many cars, tracks and everything, won't the game have long slow downs since so much stuff is crammed into the DVD?

well i doubt that, dvd's can hold a LOT of info. and cars dont take up that much space to be honest. they could always remove the music, i have it all turned off. cause its crap!Originally posted by Mr P510
I think u'll find its going to be a two DVD-ROM set like GT2 was anyway.
i hate swapping discs, i wish they worked out a way not to do it. hey i know, get rid of all the crap cars... why is daihatsu even there?!?!?!Originally posted by kinigitt
He's right it is going to be a two-disc set, just like GT2. It's strange, but it seems like GT has come full circle: GT1, one disc, introduces the gran turismo series to ps1, less than 150 cars; GT2, bigger and better in every way, 2 discs, more than 500 cars; GT3, introduces gran turismo series to the playstation 2, one-disc, less than 150 cars; GT4, bigger and better in every way, 2- discs, over 500 cars. And about the whole taking-up-space-thing: the big issue is not the amount of cars, but the amount of huge, hi-res racetracks that really consumes all that dvd space, and the second disk is going to be an arcade disk separate from the simulation disk. Sound familiar?
they would not miss out on such a huge market. and if they DO decide not to sell it there i'll personally send u a UK copy. (though u'll have to chip the ps2 urself :S)Originally posted by Blue Phoenix
