1) The Mercedes-Benz CLK-GTR/LM that is in GT4 is not the same car that flipped. That was a Mercedes-Benz CLR. The aerodynamics of the CLR are very different from the CLK-GTR, so the CLK-GTR will not flip.

2) The Mercedes CLRs flipped 3 times at LeMans. The first was in practice but that car was repaired. The second time was in morning warmup the day of the race. That car was withdrawn and did not start the race. The third time was the most famous one during the actual race.

Do you race?
BMW V12 LMR (Le Mans Racer??) 1999. Driven by Yannick Dalmas, Jochaim Winklehock and P. Martini and won. You may not remember it because the race was overshadowed by a 400km/h (?) accident ...

Funny you should say Overshadowed... cos there is the BMW almost underneath the Merc?!?!

I dunno about you but if I was in that Viper I would have been crapping myself... it looks as though it jumped up and fell down behind the viper... truly an amazing happening... I've seen the vid of the one going into the trees too!

The CLR was behind the Viper the entire time. In fact the Viper is the cause of that accident in that it was the one in front disturbing the air on the CLR.

If I remember correctly during the race, a Viper was the cause of that accident too.

Really?

The perspective is a little weird in the photos then... it looks as tho it's in front then above then behind...

Weird.

It's lovely! High Speed Ring looks to have some unreal looks to it as well. No one really knows what the track will feature. Who knows? You might see beautiful fountains and Gothic churches on the straight going past the first banked turn area..

you are just plain weird

For you Gran Turismo fans, here's a "Did You Know." DID YOU KNOW... that there is a such college in America called "Grand Valley?" That's right, the college is in Allendale, MI, USA. It's home to the Grand Valley State Lakers. Here's the website:

http://www.gvsu.edu

Only thing is, I pretty much know that you're not going to come across any of them and ask if any of the student love racing Gran Turismo's Grand Valley.

Well hell. What's wrong with speculation? Use you imagination, man! And if think I'm weird... YOU DAMN RIGHT!

I've been reviewing some of the past pictures as well as some of the newer ones. For some of the returning tracks getting new face lifts, have you GT players played GTs 1, 2, or 3 to get an idea as to what the newest build will provide? Each GT has gradually looked more impressive than the last. GT1 seemed pretty nice, GT2 was kind of different in graphics, GT3 is kind of a mixed bag for some people. For some people, GT3 was either a lovely game that could have had more to it. For some others, what would have been GT4 is GT3. No matter what you think, I like GT3 the most in terms of graphics. And the graphics are still state-of-the-art even in all of the GT series. But when you take a look at these pictures, you cannot help but be stunned (unless you are a HATER!).

Forgive me if I sound like a "n00b," but... where's the drifting? Think of the people who want to do a little touge (pronounced like "tow-gae") action in GT4. And in GT3, I toyed around with the Mazda RX-7 and the Ruf RGT. The RX-7 is a very sweet machine for drifting. It had some pretty nice moves and slid around very well in the turns, plus I was able to control it. The Ruf RGT is kind of more like a "Grip" car even though I put it on "Drift" mode in Arcade.

When December rolls around, I'd love to blast around... some track in any available LMP race car. I think that BMW V12 LMR would be a blast around New York, that Sauber would be nice at Trial Mountain, and the Toyota GT-One would be mad sick (in case you want to criticize me because I sound like some young punk, I mean pretty cool) around Hong Kong. Bring on the prototypes!

Ohhh...I´ve been waiting to do that too!! :D ...It really is great that they have put in more LMP and prototypes since I think that GT3 missed alot of those! :(
and in GT2 they werent used right..like in GT3 I didnt like the mix of GT40 and lets say an R390..hope they fixed that "problem" to :dopey:
