McLaren F1GTRKY's going to be losing fans if he keeps pulling this ****.
Did I miss the press release that said it was KY's fault, or even his idea? For all we know, it's a screw-up by Sony, that happened after Polyphony delivered the final product.
The idea came up in another thread that Sony, not knowing ahead of time the exact completion (gold) date of the game, neglected to make advanced bookings at the DVD-pressing facilities, and now they're scrambling trying to get the game manufactured.
If that's the case, I fail to see how it's KY's fault. Most of you guys are forgetting there are two companies involved here. Polyphony and Sony. Polyphony only programs the game, it's Sony's responsibility to manufacture and distribute it. If they dropped the ball on their end, it has nothing to do with Polyphony. While they did mention last-minute tweaks and fine-tuning, do you really think Sony would publically announce that they screwed the pooch on manufacturing? Or would they gloss it over a bit by claiming to make the game "better", when we all know the game was finished what.. two weeks ago?
So, since we simply DON'T KNOW the cause of the delay, it's hard to point fingers.
