Gt4 Release Date

where does it say worldwide, after reviewing the E3 GT Demonstration, KY doesnt say worldwide release. he just says current target is november and there looking forward to it
 
ooh, well for some reason I remember hearing worldwide somewhere, maybe on ign or soemthing... sorry if I mislead anyone..:(
 
KY said he wanted a worldwide release but it was toward the end of last year, let's hope thats still his goal.

Maybe true but they'll say anything to get you to pre-order with them!..... and later move the date!. I've had GT4 on pre-order with Amazon since they first listed it last year:rolleyes:

Don't think anyone will know at this stage, but yeah I'd buy a combo pack if its cheaper then buying them seperately.

Maybe they'll release an even bigger pack with GT4/Adapter/HDD, christ that would be expensive :lol:

well im so looking forward to gt4
Im already saving for a full race seat pod, hdd, network adaptor, wireless bridge, and logitech gt force pro.:eek:

All i can say the game better be worth it!;)
 
Anyone know where the Amazon UK stores are? A week before GT4 is released we could always check their warehouse. I mean we could always leave them the money!:D

here in holland the logitech wheel is about twice the price of a single game :)
About 130 euro if I can remember correctly :)
 
In Holland where I live we can already pre-order a PS2 pack including GT4 for 199 Euro's. I guess the price will be lower eventually when it hits the stores this novemeber.
 
november is a looong way....

I still have 5 silver license and 5 bronze license to finish all gold.
not sure that's enough to last 6 months.

I just had a much harsher thought.... you should stop reading my post if you have a weak stomach.

Remember this.... November 2004 is only the FIRST official release date given by SCEA.

you KNOW the first date is going to slip MORE THAN ONCE.

Whilst we haven't had an 'official' release date before, it's slipped beyond predictions enough. We're living in a world where games are becoming delayed on a daily basis; look at Half Life 2. If Sony/PD renig and push back the release date again it's not going to look good for them. What better to move network adapters and HDDs off shelves and out of warehouses for Christmas?

I don't think they would have committed to November unless they felt sure they could make it; they've avoided making commitments they can't keep so far, why start now?
 
Yeah but Valve software, creators of Half Life 2, appeared confident @ E3 2003 that it would definately be finished for Sept 30th 2003... And hmm we're still waiting Valve!

Still I think we'll see both Half Life 2 & GT4 this year, if not its buuuurrrrning time

I agree that November is unlikely.

Seen every GT game slip even after official announcements!

I'm taking November with a pinch of salt and am predicting 22 April 05.

We'll see how close I am. I regret that I personally believe that I'm being a little optimistic:rolleyes:

Lol effo, I just read Dante's Inferno.

Anyway, I really do hope that the release date is in November, we've waited awhile. Does anyone know how many months/years this game has been postponed?
 
I think that the videos being realeased of GT shows that the game is well developped, so I guess its coming out in November;)
 
Confident that this will be the date.

This time i feel PD have controlled the shots, instead of sony.

They have had so long to tweak most of the games elements and have probably built in a great deal, of final testing time to allow the game to still be ready on time.
 
November huuh. Well a couple of threads back i read that PD might be able to get ferrari. And it was an article from some game place and it said the KY personally said he wouldnt care pushing the game a half a year if it meant getting Ferrari. So November, Up to hmmm, MAY OF 2005 JUST FOR FERRARI, **** THAT....!!!!!
 
It'd be nice to have ferrari in a Gran Turismo game, but i agree, another half a year is too long just for them to be included in GT4.

Still if that becomes the case there's still GTA San Andreas and many to keep us going.
