GT4 Release in US

I went to Sam Goody the other day to put in a reservation for gt4.

the lady at the counter opend her book and said

"its due, JUNE 1st, '04"

They give you a date so that you will give them money...

When Polyphony/Sony give a date, that will be it.

I expect you'll have a birthday in 2007, so you might anyway have GT4 on your birthday.
That is, unless you're born on Feb. 29th, in which case you're unlucky from your very birth

At a Sony press event a couple months ago, the same event that mentioned GT4 will take advantage of the HDD, they stated Gran Turismo 4's release date was now Fall 2004.

By 2007 Xbox 3 will be ready to ship. Any way. The strategy guide has an August 30th release date. If it means anything it could be out as early as mid September.

I think it is safe to say there is no guranteed release date. I heard Oct. 1!!!

At worst, I expect a late-November North American date. Nothing gets consistent sales than having a few copies ready for the holidays, and with enough time, PD won't repeat the mistakes made in releasing GT2 too early.

Of course, Pd will probably release another GT-spin-off called GT4 "Not Ready" to every other area of the world...
