GT4 & Swap Magic 3.3

I have a Japanese copy of GT4 and swap magic 3.3....

My question is... Why wont it get past the " Please drive responsibly and always wear your seat belt... ect" screen?

Please Help! I Really want to play this game

I have HD Loader wuld i be able to in some way copy over this over to my hardrive?

I know it wont copy over to the hard drive through the PS2 but is there any way i could copy it to my hardrive using my PC? What format would it need to be for my ps2 to reoconise this one i have done it?

In other words:

- I plug my HDD into my Comp
- I now have two hardrives in my comp.
-Is there some way i can copy over my GT4.ISO ( ripped from my disc ) onto my new hardrive in a format that HD loader and my PS2 will reconise...

Nope.. won't work.. Rumour has it ToxicOS 0.2 just might, but we don't know yet...

I haven't read up on it, but it's probably a BIOS you flash to a flash-memory based chip. Modchips like DMS4 have resident memory on the chip itself, allowing the user to "flash" or place an operating BIOS that someone has created to instruct the PS2 to react differently. Some BIOSes will allow users to do awesome stuff, like loading HDLoader off the memory card, or allowing DVD-Region free encoding. I guess ToxicOS will have Dual Layer chip compatibility so people can play backups of it.

Serves you right for not waiting for the US release. As for me, I just got the Swap Disc/card etc and am having fun with GTC Tokyo 2001.

DMS Lite works fine. I installed mine this week in my ps2 and am playing gt4 chinese as we speek. Please note, if you have no soldering experience, pay somebody to do the install. It is not an easy install for a rookie.

I was just trying to re-iterate the fact that there is a search button...

Like many of us here, I read most of the threads and have a pretty good idea of what they contain. I use the search when I have a question, then make a new thread if I can't find anything on the subject, or post in a similar thread if one exists.

That usually make us all happy, the user tried to search and could not find anything. In this case there are a few different threads about all of the question asked and it doesn't look like the user even looked through the rest of the forum.

Too many years as an admin I guess...
