Cut off a second at my T2, but only 0.3 at the line. :grumpy:

Sorry to waltz right in and start some $hit but you have been under investigation for a long time now. wherever it is that you end up, be prepared to prove your time quickly. this is kent's competition but i believe he will agree that we do not want a long drawn out question mark over your times in here as there has been ongoing at granturismo.de to the point that your times had to be removed due to your inability to provide any documented proof.

please don't take this personally man, i would just rather nip this in the bud before it becomes as exasperating here as it was over there. this is not the first time this has come up for you. just the first time here. you have had ample time to acquire a replay device and if it were up to me i would say under your particular circumstances, you would have to supply a replay for this lap within 3 days of the round's conclusion or be disqualified.

do i believe you are fast? yes as a matter of fact i do believe that your times are legitimate. however, it's at the point where it needs to be proven beyond the shadow of a doubt. do YOU want your competitors to believe you are a cheat?? because i can tell you firsthand, most people think you are, though they might not come out and say it. if i were you i would get a replay device and go shove your runs right up everybody's asses.

like i said, nothing against you personally bro, if it were anybody else i would take the same stand, as i have many times before. nobody likes to run against somebody they think is very possibly a cheater and nobody as fast as you apparently are could possibly like being thought of as a cheater. i know i didn't.
 
Shaved a few 1/100ths off since this morning, but definately at the limit of my skill now. Sore thumb, headache and possible DVT :boggled: but hey, I've hopefully got a decent div2 time for my troubles. That's me done for this week :D

Question, does anybody know how to disable the ghost car. cos sometimes it can be frustrating when its right infront of ya, and u **** up a corner?

I'm using a DFP and I haven't found yet how to disable the ghost.

Is there somebody who knows the answer because the ghost is terrible annoying.

On the left side of your wheel, use the D-pad UP to toggle ghost on or off. 👍

i totally agree that my time needs to b verified, even tOp 5 times being verified would be a great idea

all my times on the database.de site have all the required proof to proove those laps but probably wont bother now because posting every single license time will take me forever.....

i am without a job at the moment and thats the only thing holding me back

but i GAURENTEE or however u spell it that i will have proof of my lap for this weeks WRS race

if any of you play CS? you would kno how much hackers or cheaters suck
I know for a fact i hate playing with cheaters too, so i wouldnt do that to any of u

everything i play alwayz causes so much speculation, cs, gt4, but ill verify it!
 
Just hit up on the D-pad on the wheel to disable it on the DFP. Thats how it works on mine in the default layout anyhow.

good. i was hoping you would understand and not get defensive. it seems as though you will have 3 days to prove your time upon it's request according to the rules. that gives you a little more than a week as i can tell you right now i will be requesting your replay immidiately upon the final standings post. hopefully (and i really mean that) you can provide your replay. i want this comp to get off on the right foot and letting nothing slide from the beginning is the way to do it i'm sure you would agree. if you'll have your replay device by friday as you stated earlier, there should be no problems bro.

Of course you don't know this but i have defended you in the past because your license times DO add up in my opinion. and i am hoping i was correct in doing so. call it stubborn pride if you will but i love to see fast north americans around.

Um, Max, he's Canadian. Vancouver BC. I'm worried about the "I lost my job" quote. It has that ring of "My dog ate my memory card with all my replays on it" card. I don't want to see him buy something he can't afford if true. There is always the post.
 
i want to be part of this competition so badly
so no doubt about it that im gonna get it

i see it as the competition cant be a free service

and with all the time spent by Kent and all the others to making this happen

i feel like im payin towards playing a great competition

and Grrrrrr toecutter sum of your times have goten me so frustrated :crazy:

Thought I would come in a make some announcements...

The WRS rules have been updated in the time verification section of the thread.
(the qualified drivers list will be updated with in the hour)

Also,
If any of you have already submitted a time for this week's race, please re submit.
I may have erased a few of the times (if there were any).

Sorry but I have gone through atleast 50 pms in the last 3 days and it has created hell for my in-box.

So like I said, if you submitted this week's time already please re submit it. ;)

Played some more and improved my times a bit.
T1. 38.523
T2. 1'20.256
I started playing without the driving aids and it was defiantly faster for me (although harder to steer), I'll try keeping TCS on next time though. I also tried manual gears for the first time and it's surprisingly easy to use. I don't know if it's giving me an advantage over auto, but it's not slowing me down (more enjoyable too). 👍

At best, I think I can dip into a high 37, and T2 has a lot of room for improvement.

I suggest to all new racers to take a look at the archive.

ok, the list of drivers has been updated.

My pm box has no qualification entries in it. :)

As mentioned before, the rules have been updated.
I suggest everyone takes a good long look at them. ;)

Also, I hope to have a chance to run this race so I can get an idea of where everyone is placing compared to their qualifier.

I thought it about time to get myself on the leaderboard, so here's my times so far:

T1: 38.830
T2: 1:20.675
 
just beat my best lap by .1xx

T1 : 0:36.912
T2 : 1:16.238

i know i can get 2 more tenths for my best lap time
thats when i will submit, nowhere else on the track for me to make up time : :yuck:

You're definitely going to need a replay for that lap.
 
Ungh, guess what happened to me today? I'd been trying all day to get a really good laptime and thought I got it. Went to save it as a ghost lap, but without thinking, instead of pressing X, I pressed Square.

I bet you can guess what happened next. Yes, a whole day's work down the drain as the circuit menu appeared instead of the Ghost Lap save screen - therefore, my laptime completely erased. The colour in my face slowly drained away and I went numb.

I was broken for the next 5 mins, a trembling, quivering wreck, contemplating suicidal thoughts such as hurling myself at the TV screen headfirst, or pummeling myself to death with my DS2.

Oh well, there's always tomorrow! :dopey:

I use the DFP, not the DS2. :)

After about 30 laps and 1 beer :P my times are:

T1 38.760
T2 1.20.198

on DS2
