VEXD used the keys again....

Here's his first splits, not mine!

Thankyou EXelero.....

T1: 24.645
T2: 1'05.769

I'm requesting I be put on Luxy's board please....

Im also glad to see that for the very short time being, im beating Z.

Those are good times Z ma man, keep it up, and mind those walls....

Any ideas on a gear setting and car setup yet?

Im using tranny trick and auto 5 at the mo.

But the susp. is standard.

Whats a good setup anyone... Holl?

Right, back to the track.

Humph

Good luck people.

:grumpy: 👍

heres my current setup. It'll probably be changed, garunteed I'll be changing the tranny since I'm messing with it right now.

Spring Rate: 16.0 / 16.0
Ride Height: 55 / 55
Shock Bound: 1 / 1
Shock Rebound: 10 / 10
Camber: 3.0 / 1.5
Toe: 0 / 0
Stabilizers: 2 / 2

Tranny: Auto 6
TCS: 0(definitly changing)
ASM: 0
LSD: Initial: 30
Accel: 45
Deaccel: 30

This is a stiff/decent handling setup. The high initial torque should pump out a decent amount of extra accelleration. Anyway, heres my T Times.

T1: 26.535
T2: 1'13.598 <--------BLEH! 👎 stupid tire spin.

The teams will be formed without regard to division, so Div.1 drivers could be teamed up with Div.3'ers. I don't know if I'm going to reveal how the teams will be formed yet, as I don't want it to affect the results. The bottom line is, you want to submit your best effort this week or it could come back to haunt you.:)

@kragbees & @CFM.....

Thanks for the input gentleman..I assumed it would be something to this affect but wasn't sure!

Thanks! 👍

Stock apart from tranny trick, TCS @ 3 and ASM's @ 5. Using AT too.

Alright. I have the money to get this car. I am definitely in for this week. Oh, and about the no sandbagging, my times are going to look like I sat at the line for a few secs with a WTF look on my face. :sly: :)

ROFL

When you look at the D1 folks' times, that what it seems like we're doing in d3 some days. lol Not that d3 is slow, them d1 folks are just...well...erm...fast.

Here's my times after only 30mins

only driving aid is tcs @1

suspension

sr 13.4/13.8
rh 75/85
db 8/8
dr 8/8
ca 2.5/1
toe 0/0
st 5/5

Brakes 12/8

All else stock!

T1 25.922
T2 1,08.550

still loads to improve,
inside rear tyre smokes like a chimney going round long corner's under accel,so diff and suspension need tweaked still.

But not bad i think!

Neil

Everything untouched except for rear camber, ride height, and all driving aids off = The crappy time below:

T1: 25.456
T2: 1'07.884

@vexd: Looks as though you are getting along well this week -- nice times. 👍

Here is my current setup. Still would like to work a little more push out of the front, but I like the way it handles for now.

Springs: 15.4F/16.0R
Ride Height: 70/73
Bound: 4/6
Rebound: 7/9
Camber: 2.2/1.4
Toe: 0/0
Stabilizers: 5/5
ASM: 0
TCS: 1
Brakes: 3/3

LSD
Initial Torque: 17
Accel: 33
Decel: 19

@CrackHoor: no problem.

Hmm this weeks combo sounds very interesting :) I cant wait to go back to home and drive that gem thru Monaco (it is Monaco right ?:D )

Found this post on GTP tuning forum, gonna make changes myself using this info.

It's specifically for FR cars, and diff settings

This is for rear wheel drive cars only.

"Initial determines how quickly the lock comes in when power is applied to the axles.

Acceleration determines the balance of axle lock when power is applied. Too high a setting on the rear will induce over steer exiting high-speed corners. Too high on the front will induce understeer exiting the same corners.

Deceleration adjustment will ensure both drive-axles resist rotation equally. It is most effective in controlling high torque, rear wheel drive cars when entering a tight corner from high speed.

entering low-speed corners:
---------------------------------------
Problem: Underseer
Solution:
Initial: low
Accel: --
Decel: low

Problem: Oversteer

Hope it helps

Well, after about an hour of tinkering around and 'doing some of this' and 'doing some of that'....here's what I've been able to scrape together so far:

T1: 25.109
T2: 1'08.005

Not much to write home about, but then I've never been the best at 'tuning' my cars for anything! :banghead:

Not a big improvement from me yet, still tinkering!

T1 25.469
T2 1,08.187

Not many sharing settings yet, but for what they are worth, here they are!

suspension

11.9/12.8
70/80
5/6
5/6
2.5/1.0
0/0
5/5

Tranny
Auto 4

diff's
20/40/20

aids
0/0/1

Brakes
12/8

Peace, and smoking tyres

Do you guys recommend buying the chassis stiffener?

For this track, i would mate!

The car's straight when you get it, but with all the high G corner's it'll soon be twisted out of true!

If you have ran some laps already, you should re-straighten it,then get the cage for it!

I've done 3 laps so far. I've already found that the car handles great but *can* get out of shape if you push it hard

Great car and a track I never raced in competition.
Hard to resist.

T1-25.719
T2-1'08.755

A very interesting concept you found Todd. 👍
I fear week 12 already. :scared: (The combo,not a possible team mate ;) )

T1: 25.213
T2: 1'06.313

Come off it man!

Those splits are within .25 and .15 ish of hot's splits

False modesty/pretending to be dissapointed, is almost as bad as arrogance!, tho not sure what you are trying to portray here!

And again no settings!

Friendly atmosphere, with loads of sharing.........NOT!

HMMPH!!!

Neil

Really looking forward to bend this car into shape!! Is it just NA3 allowed or all engine mods bar turbo/sc/no2?

Stick the cage on it man, if it isn't out of true yet....DO IT NOW!

Anyone know how to get 450k quickly? I am at a loss...

Do the second rally down in the special conditions hall a couple of time! should get ya enough credits to do any mods reqd too!

Neil

or run the mascherlifterlssldkfl (german touring car event in the European hall) ... all the races on a fast-forward bspec take only 15 minutes (I normally watch tv at the same time). I use the Opel Touring car with a turbo in it and I don't need to babysit - overtake and setting '4' for aggression is more than enough. It'll win you over 800k.
