We used the Integra Touring cars and Mazda's and the like in the first two seasons. They continue to race in the legends championship.

Oh, that makes sense.

I just haven't seen a Citroën in BTCC/WTCC in a while (or at all) six.

I will start testing a Saab (oops, there isnt one in gt5) and a Seat as soon as I see one come across, it should fit in well

Good timing by me or what? Almost like I checked or something... :)

So we're on for Wednesday night then? I assume that's 22:30 for you?

I should be able to make Wednesday this week at that time :-)

At work at this moment but I'll make a room and post the number when I'm home. Will be called "GTP BTCC Cup".

I ran a 2:06.7 on Monza with 295 hp and 1240 kg, in the 330i.
The Ford Focus was 2:06.5.
The Civic Type R was 2:06.3.

Enjoyed the test session guys. Was really surprised at how different the car felt online to off. Tyre deg seemed to be an issue with grip falling off a cliff after a few laps! Perhaps driving style will need to be changed to work them less or at least some other settings changes.... when is the season due to start, has that been decided?

I think the times got down to about 2:04.5 on average. Interesting how the tires were degrading at different rates, could make for some fun racing :D

There is going to be some conserving tires at some point

Ummm, I'll chime in now; the BMW isn't at the Ford's pace, but, tire wear was on that session? I didn't even notice in my BMW. Maybe I shall make it known; the best tire wear is the Winter Stars tuned 330i.

You have a rwd car, we work our fronts pretty hard sometimes

I couldn't help but notice this whole time there was no weight limit, but the cars are fairly even at the moment, should i put in a hp limit? or perhaps just a pp limit?

Ummm, there's both a theoretical weight limit (BMW only goes down to 1240 kg, I think) and an actual weight limit (1190 kg, according to OP.) The horsepower limit is 315 hp, according to the OP.

Right now there is no weight limit, because with one, the cars could not become equal in my testing

I am planning on starting a touring car championship league on GT5 and i need a few people who could join, the cars will be 3+door ff/fr cars with 315 hp and weigh 1190+ kg, anyone want to join?

I'm sorry to argue, but, that's not what this says. It's the very first post on this thread (Original Post A.K.A. OP)

Hi sixflags, so what were the specs of your civic just so I know we were comparing like for like? I was running to 1190 kg and 315bhp as per the specs?

We've had a power and a weight limit from the start...

Also I was still running high 2:04s after nine laps. Seems the Civic is the fastest at the start, with the Ford and Beemer kinder on their tires.

That Focus is really kind on its tyres! I was down to 2:06 after a few laps. That is odd though, as the focus is a turbo which should really mean the tyres get worked harder with the extra torque going through them! My Civic is NA so it's slightly odd how they wear so much quicker than the Focus?

No, it's not N/A. In order to run anywhere near the horsepower "range" of the BTCC specs we're using, you need the turbos. The BMW is the only N/A car I know of, so far.
