Why aren't the percentages showing up any more?

It has been turned off because this feature hasn't been designed to work on so many cars and garages and it was slowing down the whole website (!). It will work again later, with proper custom caching.

Okay, thanks for letting me know :)
Great work btw!

Question:
"This is the Gran Turismo 5 cars database (cars list). The database is updated on a daily basis, and is currently 97% complete."

Is it only specific car data that's missing?

The 97% refers to quantity of missing datas among cars presents on DB, which i'm 99,999% sure contains all the cars one can see in the game.

Beyond that we can consider data reliability. Some of datas in DB relies on dealership infos (Ver. = 1 or 3), which can lead to a certain amount of errors compared to actual value for Power/Torque once the car is in garage. This is especially true with japanese cars that have a restriction removed when bought.
That's why correction through car's new data form would always be welcomed by all DB users. :)

I can't get my page to work... It says I have no cars! I've entered my psn ID correctly...

That's because all your cars have just been wiped out from your save file ! Just kidding, your PSNid is only asked for completing your profile and make the button-2-psn on your "drivercar" (top left on website), and that's all : online garage are filled manually.

You have too many cars? Well, get mad at your - so called - friends who never told you about the website before, when you've got 30 cars ;-)

any ETA millhouse on when we can start displaying pics in our garage?

How fast mill-house works on that depends on wind, i guess ; that light breeze I feel in the back of my ears makes me hope that will be done in a week.

I registered a few days ago and never got the activation e-mail. The webmaster isn't responding either... I want to be part of the club! Booo Hooo.

I did respond to your email 60 hours ago, did you check your spam msn mailbox? I'll send you a private message here anyway, but it is good to have a valid email for password recovery.

Thank you, I just double checked and unless it was tucked in an offer for Canadian meds or to make something 3 inches bigger, I never got it.

Thanks again, I'm good now!

Not sure if this has been mentioned, but it'd be nice if a feature to the site was added so that it can account for having more than one of the same vehicle.

Ignore the 2 last posts, submitted them on the page.

I think I saw an error on the first one, it only saved the price, is that correct?

It's a very informative site and great reference tool.

Can anyone tell me the source of the tyre information in the Events Guide? I may be missing something when I play the game, but can't say I noticed tyre restrictions other than the seasonal events.

There is a bug that prevent you to post "0" as a level value, it seems. I need to correct that. Thanks.
Update: corrected, it shoud work now.

B-Spec has tire restrictions.

Thanks, 👍

I guess the AI in A-Spec might be on different tyres from the sliding I see in some of the races with Sports Soft.

Funny, i've just discovered that there is no tyre limit in A-spec...

I got to L32 in A-Spec before I started doing B-Spec. After spending money for race tires on every car I drove it was kinda craptastic to have to go back and buy sports tires just to do the B-Spec races.

I mainly played B-spec, and was indeed very annoyed to go in the race menu to see i don't have the right tyres and then have to go back in parts shop, that's why i've set a "tyres" column in the event list ;-)

Is the database not counting correctly?

I have 285 according to GT5, but mygranturismo.net says I have 287.

I've double checked and I have not added something I dont have on the website, so what gives?

I don't think there is a wrong counting, it's a pretty straighforward command from the database engine itself, and nobody reports such problem before.

To help you find what is wrong, i advise you to start with premium/standard filters + the undocumented country filters : just add "&country=UK", "&country=USA" or "&country=Japan" (other countries in plain English) at the end of the url when on the main carlist page displaying your cars.

Edit: I'll check the DB myself and tell you here in a few minutes.
Edit 2 : what's your ID (didn't find your PSNid in the DB)?

Ok, maybe it's just me. Thanks for the advice on the additional filters.
After my third check, now i'm off by one now.

92/92 standards, but now 193/192 premium.

I'm going to quadrapole check now...

EDIT: I am a complete :dunce: .....it's because I own two of the same car.
