Camp out, for a game, are you serious?
Its already Sept so maybe it was just left out all together which is a shame.
I just ordered the CE because I want the book, I'm not that excited about the paint job on the bonus cars but having these at the start is great so I can join events without having to buy cars.
Although I'm not a big fan of the SLS I got it from Amazon mainly because I want to make sure I get the game near the release date and it only cost me a buck. GS was another option but they change ~$10 S&H for regular delivery. Best Buy doesn't seem to offer the GTR on the CE just the standard game.
Any word on the 787b bonus car for the US though? I would cancel my order if I knew who would offer it, its the only one missing in the US and the one I want the most
Yes. CE itself is sealed and enclosed so the 5 chromeline codes probably come on a little card in the box. The stealth cars come with pre order from retailers. The few retailers that have them as bonuses have specific ones. You get them with either standard or CE versions of the game.
Is it going to rain that same day? Who knows? All you can bet on is that if Amazon have the games in stock in time, they will ship it out in time for delivery on release day. The rest is up to the postal service.
I don't know how it is over in the US, but over here we can only pre-order the CE online from two companies, and neither do any stealth pre-order promotions with it. The only way we can get the stealth cars is to spend a ridiculous amount of money on a Signature Edition, or, pre-order a standard copy from one of three places doing the promotion. Well guess what? They will be getting a LOT of people pre-ordering multiple standard copies to get a promo code mailed to them, and then cancelling the orders or sending them back.
