yeah, wasn't it 250,000 per car in prologue or something? I do remember something along those lines? Well, I'm sure it will look great either way!

that last pic is a pretty big hint at a livery editor
 
^I agree with the last pic showing a livery editor+a hint at customisation-oh yeah and before anyone says its a jcw cup car I am quite sure they don't have the back seats!

Are we talking about the Mini if yes I like how we could possibly put vinyls on the windows not just the body work.
 
There's nothing to suggest that the Mini isn't one of PD's fantasy racing cars loosly based on a real race car or series. GT games have had fantasy race cars since GT1.

Think along similar lines to the VW Lupo cup car. The same basic car, slightly modified body, racing tyres and a basic race livery. Its not evidence of a livery editor at all.
 
I am wondering if PD will put the new Mini Cooper S in the game. This one is old!

I think they are from the very first demo we saw.

How do those cars not have AA?? the quality of that AA is to the effect of about 16xMSAA, what more could you want?? The other cars employ a form of motion blur, is that what you mean? The actual game's photomode will ook better than these shots anyway, dont worry. Those shots were like 7 mega-pixels and KY has been quoted saying GT5 will have photomode taking 20 megapixel shots. God knows why though. Anyway, on a tv set with the proper viewing distance the jaggies, even in the GT demo, are almost non existant (for the cars anyway) very impressed with this graphically. This is pre-gamecon code anyway, the recently shown stuff has actually managed to look better than these pics.

xD I doubt we'll get a livery editor. Kaz seems far too "elite" to allow his game to have that. I suspect (judging from what he's said about it being due to "fan's requests") that he wasn't too keen on having even damage in the game. I wouldn't really have minded if they only set up a mechanical damage system. However day and night cycles and any form of weather (dynamic weather would be amazing) is a must-have for me, im crossing my fingers I'll hear the announcement of dynamic weather from that little translator guy soon.

there will be racing leagues, I doubt there will be no livery or decals editor. Having a bunch of the same cars, some with the same colours going around the track would not be good...
