I just stumbled across this link of an interview with Caz, has it been seen before or is it New?

It has no juicy info on dates so don't get worked up.

Yep it's new

Build with the damage icon behind him.

I guess someone is going to need to look out for that issue of Esquire.

I cant even think why they do that, what is the reason they do all this?..it take that long to polish that game as they said or something?they need 2 month to polish the game,is that possible?they lie again, what they ll tell us next (prob tommorow)i mean what is left to tell us to wait more?is it possible to announce a 3 Nov as release date for a game, that as we see atm it wasnt ready?cause i think whenever release GT5 they ll get exactly the same loads of money even is christmas even is nothing that day, thats my opinion tho.i am really confused about what they really wanna do =/ (sry for my english)

With a game as big and as long in development as GT5, yes there is.
I think a 1 day patch would be alot better for the PR than the delay.
Oh and people that don't have their PS3 connected to the net are not going to complain about some engine sounds being not that good and besides, everybody with a PS3 should be able to connect it to the internet when they really have to, it isn't a childs toy but a $299 console.

Well, at the end of the page it says that "Gran Turismo 5 will go on sale next month on Playstation 3". So, GT5 is coming out on December?

Don't get carried away, it means nothing at this point.

Engine sounds wouldn't cause a delay. They would have the game out if it was just something minor like that.

The article also says GT5 is releasing in December.

EDIT: nevermind,

Who the hell are you to determine what people will and will not complain about?
A game that requires patching from day 1 is a game that is incomplete.

What about the millions of people who don't have access to broadband speed connections, only dial-up.

If the PS3 isn't a childs toy, then you definately shouldn't have one.

Happy GT5 Day!!!

Well if the magazines were planning huge features and cover stories based on the review copies they now haven't got, I'm guessing they will be pissed.

I hope they do get pissed, and they do a story about how all of these magazines never received their review copy's and they all do a story about it.

This game wont be coming out until next year, even if the game was to be delayed untill "Christmas holidays" there would still be some sort of advertising, even if it was just to say "Coming Soon". Since there is no marketing campaign and PD being so quiet especially after saying they would give a release date at the end of October, im pretty sure we will have to look at the new year.

Strange how i have yet to see any more marketing encouraging me to buy Black-ops over GT5.

Black-ops must be cancelled.

I just can't see why Sony accepts Yamauchi to be so anti-patch and delay the money coming in even longer. Don't misunderstand me, he's a great guy but patching is not something to be ashamed of these days.

Sorry, patching a game may be common these days but that doesn't make it the right thing to do.

PD would rather be ridiculed for delaying the game yet again than releasing it incomplete like nearly every other developer nowadays. I wish other developers follow their example.

The interview was made in October. In the first line it indicated that they headed to Tokyo probably for TGS. It mentions Gran Turisimo will be out next month possibly means November, just my guess.

We don't know when its coming, they don't know either, obviously. We all here hope it makes a 2010 release, but I'm now thinking January at the earliest. hope I'm wrong, I really do.

You and I obviously have total different views on things like these so I won't go further in this discussion. Let's just wait and see how the actual game will release.

That article was posted today though. So it wouldn't make sense for them to say that it would be on sale next month if they meant that it would be on sale this month.

That’s a question for Sony, fella. FirstPlay is made by Future Publishing, and I currently know as much about the GT5 release date as you do.

Well, maybe a little more, but it’s totally a secret

I think you're right. Sony and Kaz are the only one official release date to start teaching soon, that they really do not have to let some unknown page / site. sry for english.

Will the game run at a rock-steady 60fps?

This is a major issue for us in GT5. Our engineers complain every day: 'Isn't it enough that it's in 1080p? Does it have to be 60fps too?'

** I'm traducing the main news of the video :P

Are you excited by this new GT ?

- I didn't play much... some circuit and 2 cars so...
graphics = nice evolution
physics too = very realistic

As a driver, wich 2 elements not included or badly included from past GTs would you like to be in gt5 or ameliorated in GT5 ?

- pace notes
more long rally races (special)
more representative for rally
different physics on dirt
circuits are very good
