Someone can select a number of cars for a group shot? "Hey look at what I unlocked after 48 straight hours of playing!"

I am just trying to figure out where you got this idea that Jalopnik is like The Onion of car blogs.

I am unaware of them completely making a story up and trying to pass it off as news. It is possible that they got poor translations or something and they are incorrect, but you are acting like the fact that it is Jalopnik creates a large risk that it is untrue. Why?


The truth is that if this is true it means nothing as far as a release date. For various marketing reasons I don't pretend to completely understand they may decide to wait a long time to say anything more or they may decide to not release it for a month or two. All this tells us is that Kaz told Jalopnik that the physical discs are being produced right now. I have no problem being that much. There is being skeptical of the facts because you don't trust Sony/Kaz, or skeptical that those facts could mean a release date in the near future. But acting like the site reporting on their interview is known for spreading outright lies is a big step that I don't understand.

It could very well be! We've seen that a lot, if not almost every feature that's been shown in trailers (like the fireworks in Toscana) are possible in the game, so... Why not? :)
 
Guys, let's not get too excited...keep yourselves busy or these few weeks are going to be unbearable. Oh, and for those who canceled their pre-orders...are you gonna go back to the store like a lost sheep and pre-order again? :)

Stamping = Putting the image on the disc (The sticker).
Burning = Burning the data onto the disc.

Maybe they're already burnt, just getting stamped with the stickers, packaged and delivered.

Wishful thinking, but I'm allowed to dream!
 
That track looks so much like real life though...
They've even modelled the custom engines (in a different position, and they're non functional) on that 747, which would be good to take pictures under...
 
the only think that i am consern about is that i speak today with retailer (who has in his site 19 Nov that the GT5 will come) and today change it to just "comming".I call them and they tell me that today they receive an e-mail from sony that the game will be released at Christmas BUT they arent sure (Sony) 100% yet... if they GT5 is printing atm why they send that mail today =/ hope the news is real tho
 
If anything, Jalopnik is pretty critical. They surely have a 'sense' of humor. I don't visit the site regularly because of their obvious bias towards some things and against others, but if they say this I seriously doubt that it's a lie, or made up. They're quick to point out GT5 being delayed, so putting this as one of their stories has to be good news.
