Lol, and you want to pontificate to us about "jumping the gun". It's been less than 24hrs since Jalopnik ran that story. So yea, I'm not quite sure what the point of your post was. Hopefully you remember to take your medication next time.

And how come Kaz spoke to Jalopnik exclusively without anyone ever seeing Kaz or press announcement that he is actually in Vegas yesterday...
Strange that only Jalopnik saw Kaz for themselves... You would think Kaz and his PD crew would be on the SEMA floor inspecting cars (and thus we would have footage of it, visual proof of it)

Yea, it's also strange he didn't mention anything about pressing discs. Oh well. If we don't hear anything by the end of SEMA, we'll know that it's probably going to be 2011.

YOu know I've been thinking of the whole "SOON" thing, and maybe a 9 month delay IS 'soon' for Kaz, i mean with so much going on, so much to do, globetrotting, judging, producing, racing, media, and whatever else, time probably flies for him, maybe 9 of his months pass like 3 of ours...

i agree, he said it will be released soon in 2009. I guess "soon" means something else to him.

Er, you're still not right. Prove Jalopnik wrong.

Considering they do indeed have/had ties with T10, I trust them that they went out of their way to hunt down Kaz for more info. It's entirely possible they haven't said more on it due to respect to Kaz/Sony, who maybe want to announce the date and more info at the show. Do I know that this will happen for sure? Nope. But you also don't know that isn't the case. Go troll elsewhere.

Jalopnik might have some questionable articles every once in a while, but the same can be said of Autoblog. The latter is almost always behind the former when it comes to breaking news, too.
 
When this "GT5 has gone gold" news is not really true, this will truely kill the game for sure! We had enough dissapointments but after this news, the half world (ok a bit less people) was going crazy...

I really think people will burn the studios down lol...

Kaz is not the publisher, so he ain't gonna pull a date out of nowhere.
 
He is probably giving us a vague answer because he doesn't know, Sony is deciding when to release it. Not Kaz. But i bet we WILL get it before Christmas.

....and before people start bringing up past Christmas's, i'm not talking about the past. I'm talking about THIS Christmas.
 
I really think that the news of yesterday about the disc beeing made is not tru. If Kaz says that 'I think so' on a question like 'will it be released before xmas' I doubt it will be released this year. And even if the disc making is true it could mean alot. Sony can put them in a warehouse and launch the game on the time they seem fit. I hope the discmaking is true and we can play the game mid December but when I think of all the (release) dissapointment that PD and Soony gave me in the last decade I doubt we will see it by then.
